This is a 2 day metal detecting adventure/road trip. It is in a large field where once early settlers had walked along. The fields were rich in finds and there are ruins. This was a fun trip, filmed to encourage people to explore and enjoy the outdoors. Metal detecting is a hobby that gives us many options of how to and where to detect. It is filmed for my grandchildren to watch. If you enjoy i...

After 5 weeks of tumbling rocks in the workshop, they are all smooth and looking shiny. The process was easy to do, from beginning to end. Using grit 80 to start with for 1 week then grit 220 for 1 week then 600 grit for 1 week then using polish compound aluminium oxide for 2 weeks in tumbler. Total of 5 weeks and lots of fun to do. Now I have beautiful tumbled mix of beach rocks I collected, a...

Thank you H😀🙏
Oddly enough, when I saw that rock, stone, pebble? Before you mentioned the encapsulated water, I thought of a rock I found many years ago, it was about the size of a large egg, I don't know what type of rock it was, but it was almost as clear as glass but it had not been worn smooth, almost faceted with more flat surfaces and no rounded shapes, the clearness of it was what caught my eye, on picking it up I noticed an air bubble moving around inside. The cavity like yours, it had filled with water as well. It fascinated me that this could happen, I did keep it, but what became of it I don't know. It was one of only two rocks I ever collected, the other looked like it had been melted as if from a volcano, with what looked like bubble bursts from within on its surface. Dark brown in colour. The only other rocks I have are in my head! Very cool find Brun, Cheers!
That is so cool, what a great memory to have of the rock you found.
Only word I can think of is Stunning 😍 Gorgeous 😍 Amazing 😍, huh, guess 3 came to mind lol
So cool!
G'day.. Oh my golly.. That's amazing.. Trapped in there. Like the amber. Oooo.. May have microbes from centuries ago.. "Let sleeping dogs lie".... Thanks for showing us. 🦘🌸🦘
Oh wow - that's incredible!

Cool find ...
Wow that’s amazing I’ve never seen that before. Thanks for sharing
It's pretty cool, hey?😁🇦🇺
Fluid inclusions are tiny trapped fluids in minerals that provide insights into the temperature, pressure, and chemical conditions during mineral formation. They help geologists understand past geological processes.

Wow that's crazy.
Yes I agree, too expensive

I have never seen an egg vending machine. $10 for a dozen eggs??? Wow!!!😳❤️

What a fantastic day, and a wonderful selection of finds! Could the rings have been on some long since perished curtains - ah you agreed with me, I see! Nice hammer too.... I have a mulberry tree, every year it gets so much fruit but the birds get most of it long before I ever get to it! Enjoy! Love Susan xxx 🙂
