Kindle Unlimited is $11.99 a month, and $11.99 for 3 months for first time subscribers. You also get three months free when you buy a kindle. It’s kinda like Netflix for books. When you subscribe to Netflix you don’t get to keep the movies when the subscription expires. I believe if you decide to purchase the book or resubscribe to KU and borrow the book again the annotations will remain but I could be wrong. It’s a good way to try out genres and books that you are interested in but might not want to own forever in your kindle. My only issue is that I never get around to reading any of the books I have borrowed before the month runs out because my tbr is so long so there are months I’ve paid for the subscription and didn’t use it 😅

You should check out for a kobo. It reads any pdf and you can link you library card to it :)

yeh, I made my goal one book this year cuz I was getting so caught up in the numbers but had to take a step back and remember why I started reading cuz I think it’s super easy to try and read books just to hit a goal which isn’t bad but it just didn’t make me feel good! Love this book talk series 🤍

Wow that list made me realise how little romance movies I've actually watched lmao. But I admire you because I don't think I'd be able to do this. There are so many of these movies that are so unhinged but I watched them when I was younger and/or my mum loves them so the critical analysis part of my brain shuts down and I eat them up because of the sentimental value
