Here we see how to adjust a regulator in a Rapid Air Weapons air rifle.
I try to unsamble the moderator of my new ltr rifle and is impossible. You put Loctite? How can I try other less bulky moderators?
Cool. Thanks for the vid.
why not just thread the dam barrel like every other gun manufacturer
Will this exact same moderator be used on the .30 cal as well? Can you tell me the weight of this unit?
Any idea how much of an fps change a 1/4 turn on the regulator equates to?
I have a RAW BM-500 cal 22 it's excellent at 100 yds. Been shooting it since 2015 & it's time for new seals. Any chance of you doing a reseal video for a TM/BM/HM air rifle?
Dinosaur design for Reg. Adjustability 🦖
So how do you determine what the pressure is on the regulator? What is the pressure on the regulator set to from the factory?
How do you remove and clean the pellet probe and spring?
I let my gun ran out of air and now I can’t seem to fill the tank. It kept leaking out of the bleed hole on the regulator. Please help. I tried contacting the customer help line but never can seems to get ahold of anyone. $2000 for the gun and nothing but headaches. I bought a day state safari and NEVER have any issues… smh
You’ve blown an o-ring on the piston inside the regulator. Try not to come off-reg next time
RIGHTY TIGHTY LEFTY LOOSEY
This is a very good debate , from a viewers point of view, if you had the Barrel pointed at your faces or chest, then yes, as you stated "righty tighty lefty loosey ", But that is NOT SAFE or a proper gun handling technique, and we do not recommend anyone doing so. If you are doing this in a SAFE manner with the barrel pointed away from you as demonstrated in this video. You will notice the rotation of his hand and wrist. In this demonstration, removing the tank in the recommended, proper and SAFE manner as demonstrated in this video the person would be rotating there hand, and wrist in clockwise direction. We apologise if this caused any delay in removing your stock. We hope this clears things up.
@@rapidairworx awesome reply! thanks for the clarification and it totally makes sense!
I am experiencing reg creep on my 2017 TM1000 (U.K. sub 12ft/ib) resulting in erratic fps and accuracy issues e.g. it will group 5 shots in one hole at 37 yards then the next 5 shots spread out to about an inch before starting to close down again. I want to remove the reg and change the seals but I'm unsure about removing the cylinder (cylinder on the TM1000 not a bottle) Is the procedure the same as described in this video?
Sorry you are experiencing some issues , please email us at info@rapidairworx.com and we will do our best to help you.
You just sold me this rifle. Enough said.........👍🇺🇲🎯
Same here. I was pumped for the panthera but it looks like it's going to be plagued with new gun woes. Raw is proven and sells you replacement parts....won't need them as much from what I hear but good to know it's all easy enough to purchase straight from them.
If you buy this gun don’t let the tank goes to empty or you gonna have nothing but headaches trying to fill the tank up. I have one and just absolutely frustrated with it. My daystate on the other hand run smooth as butter and never gave me any gried
Will you be making this moderator for the older Rapid models. With 1/2" UNF thread ?.
give us a call or email us at info@rapidairworx.com let us know what model you have and one of our customer service reps will be able to help you. we do have some options.
Why don't you farm out the manufacturing of this moderator. To increase the sales for you.
Why not use a RTI Priest regulator or simlar. This can adjusted externaly without having to strip the rifle down every time. This will save time and air. Regards John P.
RAW? do i need a plenum pressure gauge as well? besided what i see at top in the video?? can raw chime in here
Newbie question: From what I can tell there is no barrel going through the length of the moderator, correct? So that means the pellet leaves the end of the barrel and must travel unguided through the moderator and out? Any danger of the pellet hitting the inside of the moderator at that point, i.e. too low regulator pressure, etc? Just asking because I don't know. Thank you.
Very helpful video, however it really is not "just that easy" especially with no plenum pressure gauge. Honestly quite disappointing for a gun of this price range, even cheap chinese and turkey guns have external adjustable regulators and plenum/reg pressure gauge now and days.
Hi. I want to achieve 970fps with jsb 33,9 mk2. Is that possible????
Do you make a power plenum for this rifle.
So you are expected to completely disassemble and assemble after every quarter turn of the regulator. HOW REDICULOUS IS THAT!
Even tho the RAW comes factory tuned, many RAW owners who want adjust there regulator for there specific needs found this tutorial helpful , We understand that this process is to technal for some users , we do offer custom tuning (within reason) to a customers speciation's upon request for a fee.
It is old fashion now. There are different products on the market, to bring this gun into the 21st century.
@@johnpinder8121 how so what is old fashioned?
Less chance of over adjusting and blowing out the o ring.... like what happens on FX regulators when adjusted by fx fanboys who don't know what they're doing!
@@johnpinder8121let me guess.... FX!? 😅😅
Easy and not so easy ...
And where is the hammer spring adjustment at???😊
FX has complete tear down videos step up your game please..
Spoiler alert !!! this is not the FX page .... Due to the fact we have an amazing customer service team and we have Quality American Made Airgun, along with an amazing warranty, we decided not to post a video teaching people how to tear down their airgun and possibly voiding their warranty. But then again, if the customer still would like to proceed with a complete tear down they can reach out to our customer service team and they could help. Here is the customer service phone number 1-877-247-4867 And here is the Customer service email info@rapidairweapons.com You can contact us there , if you have questions or concerns. Here at RAW, it's not that we need to "step up our game" it's that we are so far ahead we are about to lap the others , they just don't know it yet. And thank you i hope you Have a great day.
and it would be nice if you monitored this page.. you have a question from 8 months ago you haven't bothered to answer ...not acceptable..!!!!
That's amusing you see it that way. Most people that actually need help will reach out to our customer service team to get answers. But then again that's common sense.... Then again there are those who think the world revolves around them and there keyboard and will complain in the comments of a video instead of going the simple path to a solution. Here is the customer service phone number 1-877-247-4867 And here is the Customer service email info@rapidairweapons.com You can contact us there , if you have questions or concerns. I hope that response is "acceptable" for you. And thank you i hope you Have a great day.
please make more videos on how to really get into the nit and gritty of working on this air rifle.. maybe o-ring replacement, checking for leaks.. because we all know eventually its gonna happen..
Thank you for your tutorial. You mentioned that you should turn the bottle in a clockwise direction to remove it but I believe you should turn it in a counter clockwise direction. From your particular viewpoint you turned it clockwise but the correct terminology should be CCW?
what's the pressure from the factory on the REG..?
we would need to know what model? if its a 12 ft lb gun? what caliber? Here is the customer service phone number 1-877-247-4867 And here is the Customer service email info@rapidairweapons.com You can contact us there , if you have questions or concerns.
Bought my Raw chassis last year from PA. It doesn't have this update. Can I order the new system from you?
What butt stock is that ?
Its the SRS made by MDT
@@rapidairworx just ordered the SRS v5 for my Hm1000x
Approximately how much is the pressure adjusted for maybe a 1/4 turn of the screw?
1/8 turn is approx. 5 bar, so 1/4 = 10 bar
@@richieg150 thanks!
Bonjour, je possède une RAW cal 30 , prendre exemple sur FX airguns , zéro vos videos.
There are many highly function suppressors available third party for raw…this thing is large and ugly
no there isnt for this model because the dam barrel isnt threaded so now if you want a mod you have to buy a dumbass donnyfl mod attachment that makes it even longer than the big ass mod in this video. so basically adding a mod on top of this mod geez
U can remove the whole thing and install A Neil clague.
@@corny155 what is a neil clague?
Google him…he makes moderators. It’s one of the best options for raw. Second only to AZ who build a one piece shroud moderator.
@@corny155 thanks bud!
Great addition!
Bonjour , Hello, a video to change the internal rings of the regulator thank you.
bottle screws in clockwise. How much weight does chassis system reduce over classic walnut stock? Thanks for the videos !
My TM 1000,,is beyond all other guns,,,its like a gift from the Gods!! and I ain;t kidden
what do you like about your tm can you tell me more
Love Love Love my HM1000x .30!
Looks like a nice system, how many dB does it reduce in .22?
Mine sure did not come apart like that. When I went to unscrew just the baffle section to clean the barrel the baffle section with the end cap and air stripper all came out as one unit? Do I have older design or is something screwy with mine?
There is only one version of this can that we have ever shipped. You should be able to separate the air stripper from the can by unscrewing the two parts, if you need to get a better grip on the air stripper you can put a wooden or plastic dowl through the holes in the air stripper so you can get a better purchase on it to separate the two. when you put the two parts back together you may want to very lightly lubricate the threads if you plan on removing the can regularly. We use FP-10 at the factory but any gun lube will work
@@rapidairworx Thank you for the reply! Just received mine from UA in the red laminate and just wanted to clean the barrel before I shot it. It wasn't a big deal as it gave me even better access to do the job. Question if I may? Do I need to put anything on the stock from time to time or should I just wipe it down with a cloth and leave it alone? Also what grease do you guys use so I can go out and buy some as all I have is some Amsoil and I am just about sure it's synthetic based and the manual says not to use synthetic. Appreciate it and THANK YOU !
@@shane011471 We use a bit of Parkers O-Ring lube on the o-rings and that's about it. The metal parts don't need much in the way of lubrication. You can also use a pure PTFE lube as well, but it's quite a bit more expensive. Our stock finishes are a sealed lacquer so you don't want to oil them much if at all, usually just a wipe down with a good clean microfiber cloth should do but I will occasionally wipe down with a bit of Ballistol from time to time. The sealed lacquer is pretty much maintenance free otherwise.
@@rapidairworx Appreciate the reply. All I was going to use the grease for was just a little drop on all the pivot points for the side lever and that's about it.
Any sign of some rifles coming to the UK soon ?
It's very much in the works, things have been kind of knocked off the rails due to COVID related closures but you should be seeing an announcement in the near future.
Hope so pal
This was super helpful, thank you!
i was told that a dry fire with bottle removed will bend the pin inside reciver.
Yes, if done repeatedly if there is not any air still inside the plenum. Dry firing a single time while air is still in the plenum to blead the system is generally a safe practice.
