My first car, a three-speed column change, the ignition key was about an inch long and started from the dashboard. It had drum brakes all round and cross-ply tyres. It was Glade Green if I remember correctly.
One of the most boring & worse looking motors ,ever produced . I remember seeing these rot boxes being flogged for around 15 - 20 quid at used car auctions .
Hello! Wow - this is really cool and such an amazing song! We are a kids family band from NZ and hope you might like to see our version of Hey You too :) thanks!
Hey Doug... Another nice cover here my friend. Great song. This one is by far the most covered REM tune out there. So many (even me) have put out their take on it. For me, this song carries much sadness, darkness and a touch of anger, and it's also just a beautiful song. Your version captures the sadness very well. I like the little syncopation timing nuances you threw in there . 👍
Nice cover on this one Doug. Man, that guy from 10CC was sure writing some cool tunes back in his hippie days of the 60's. Isn't it weird how you can hear a song you haven't heard in about 50 years, but still remember almost all of the words to it???🎶👍
Really digg'n that poster directly behind you. That was from the Maxell cassette tape TV commercial in the early 80's where the music caused his wine glass to be pushed back and fall off the table next to him. They were pushing their "chrome" and "metal" tapes at that time...oh yeah..and the song you did here came out nice by the way. 🎶🎶👍
Hey man!... that came out really nice. Sounds like you had everything dialed in nice on this one. Very pretty song and great cover...👍and sub from me on this one....
This is a great Seals and Crofts tune. It brings back good memories of playing and singing stuff like this in the 70's out in parks with a good friend of mine. The harmonies they did were so sweet. Nice cover. Liked your playing and singing. Your joy of playing shows well.... 👍from this old hippie...
I almost bought this model for my first car in late 80's. Then I saw the rust in the wheel well and decided to pass...
So cool
Awful looking repugnant auto ...

It was my first car.column change 3 speed in 1971. It was a 1963 model. Lovely Bench seats on the front were very handy for an 18 year old❤
Thanks for sharing

Lovely car and you keep it well. I'm in the UK. My dad had one in grey back in the 60's, it was a very comfortable ride.
