This is one of the most primal human experiences. Nighttime on the savannahs with a lion stalking you. There's not a human on the planet not hardwired to have a visceral reaction to that. Now you can learn to like it, but watching that is as close as you can get to have an experience of one of your first ancestors

It would be impossible to get out of that tent because you don’t know if theres lions outside or not

Extremely rare that a lion will enter a tent if it's closed. I just returned from a mobile camping safari in Botswana. My guide who's very experienced, said the lion sees the tent as a large object, like a safari vehicle, not something that poses a threat. Felt totally safe inside my tent even with wildlife around.

I would have hid under my blanket ,and prayed for him to be on his way ,🌞.

If you zip the tent closed the lion can’t get in. No thumbs.
