Victoria, I have a whopping 4 subscribers. I just use UA-cam to share with family and then more recently, for my birdfeeder videos to share on Medium at the Daily Cuppa. You're doing great. Keep on Cruising we can't do that now due to health, but we did do around 15 cruises.

I found you via Katie on the Daily Cuppa at Medium. I have a channel, but just use it as a way to share a video, I'll never reach enough subscribers to ever make money. But I admire you for working that way. This was very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Another interesting video with excellent and useful tips for starting up a YT channel. 👍 With regard to your advert question, I have YT Premium which means that adverts are not shown when I am watching YT videos. When someone is monetised, I believe that the video creator still receives a small amount of money when someone who has YT Premium watches their video even though the adverts are not actually displayed. I know you went on a cruise from Tilbury before so you may be interested to know that in late September / early October, the paddle steamer Waverley is visiting the Thames. It is the last sea going paddle steamer in the world and visits every year at the same time and offers sailings on the Thames. They are only day trips so it is not the same as a cruise but it sails to / from London, Gravesend, Southend, Clacton, etc. and also sometimes sails around the Thames Towers. It is usually based on the River Clyde near Glasgow but around this time of year it offers sailings in different parts of the country (it usually offers day trips on the Solent before coming to the Thames). There are usually a number of videos that people post on YT whenever it visits so thought that it might be a good video topic for you if you are near the Thames since you like travel.

I love writing short stories, but have always felt I couldn't make money from them unless they're marketed as a collection. I just heard of Medium a couple of days ago. Seems there's a lot of potential there. You're experiment as certainly piqued my interest. Looking forward to hearing how it goes.

So far ambassador cruise there ship are old they are more expensive that p&o and carnival the cabins are small there is better out there.

Keep on moving, Victoria! A 30-day challenge is a great way to get started. I walk a lot and find that changing my walking route frequently keeps it from getting boring. Good job on the video, too.

I've been wanting to try out Carnival, looks like a mixed bag for you, mostly not great. Bummer about the food, because really the main reason I'd go on a cruise is for some good food so this is a big con for me. I've never been to Esenada but that sounds like a personal hell to me lol.

Thanks Victoria, I really enjoyed this - concise and useful. I've read bad reviews for Ambience, so it's great to see all the fun you both had. What was embarkation/disembarkation like? Did they sort out the aircon in the cabin? Were there many delays?

Interesting video. It sounds as if your experience of travelling with Carnival was a bit mixed. With regard to the lack of USB sockets in the cabin, one tip that I have learned from staying in hotel rooms is that most TVs have a USB port on the back of them. Therefore, if you need an extra USB socket to charge up a device (and if you can access the back of the TV in the cabin!) then it is often possible to charge a device from the USB port on the back of the TV.
