Cool, Mike Stern type of vibe from the guitar player. I checked some of his other stuff out. Seems to repeat a lot of the same patterns from solo to solo. He's got a killer right hand.

This is actually SERIALISM or 12 TONE music going on. The bass is just TWO notes, but the arrangement they do are these notes: F/F#/C#/A/A#/E/C/B/D/G#/D#/G as u can see there are all 12 notes played with out repeating any of them until the pattern is complete. Seems random, but it's not actually. SERIAL MUSIC!!! :-)

It's just the way he transforms that little motive (Bb B F). It's a lot of notes but they all relate back to each other. If you don't respond to that then this music is probably not for you, but for a lot of people that sounds pretty sweet. From an objective point of view, there aren't a lot of dudes on guitar that "handle" a lot of notes better than that.

nah i can see it, just look past the incredible technique, these guys look too jazzy and serious, the music sounds "intense" but does it make you wanna get up and dance, go talk to hot chicks? just one opinion but if you see it from that way then yeah this music is unappealing. besides that, i do like his serial killer personality on the guitar, but yes a lot of notes for any one man to really handle if you know what i mean, he loses the feeling in sections here.

this guy is a genius. a brilliant, albeit radical, player.
