Wow very nice. Best of luck for the new harvest ❤ I have never tasted saffron, we have a cheap alternative in stores that look exactly similar but i am sure its something else 😂 Is the taste really worth the hype ? Like is it out of this world or just nice to have ?
I have only tried a tiny taste of one little stamen when dry. I thought 'sweet flowery'. Now that this years harvest, is dry I plan to use it in a recipe. Chicken breast with spinach and saffron sauce. I will be sure to post my thoughts about it afterwards.
24 blooms harvested so far. Plan to plant more bulbs next August to expand this little patch. 🌷

True that ❤❤❤ My first sunflower failed too i dint know why it created seeds that were empty ! My second attempt was all eaten by birds before germination 😂

@@999ug Yes other years. This year I tied strips of tin foil to them in different spots and it scared away the bluejays.

If I'm going to use my bud trimmer over the course of a week or two can I clean it just once at the end or must I clean it each day I use it?
We only clean it at the very end of harvesting. Once per year.

Yes, chamomile has many health benefits. 😊
