Thank you. In my experience, I struggle To find Transportation as a physically disabled individual. At this point, I am unable to work But I’m not a senior citizen. I have Medicare and a supplementary insurance policy which covers no transportation. I use a walker, but I recently lost the use of my hand and arm, and cannot lift the walker into my car. I cannot afford an Uber and don’t qualify for other programs because I’m not a senior citizen. I’m trying to maintain my independence, but the system makes it nearly impossible. Thank you for all you do! Grateful!

Dave Darcangelo is my first cousin on my mothers side. He is and always has been the most successful family member, as far as education, career accomplishments and personal development. When you develop humility and respect as a way of dealing with a disability, it shows true character. I love my cousin, he is younger than me, but the memories we share and the knowledge he has shared with me and so many others, has enhanced my life, as well as our family. Thanks Dave.

Enjoyed this episode, David! Loved your point about the importance of making accommodations for people with disabilities. This truly is the key to success and inclusion. I’ve seen job postings mention a few of the things you touched on (drivers license, etc.), but organizations are always evolving, and should reflect that in their job requirements.

i have decades long multiple chronic pain conditions. give back my pain meds and i can create my own positive disability employment outcome for myself. opioid pain meds are made for people like me,thats a fact. fear lies and greed dont serve my community. we are the stakeholders not investors steering committees or task force politicians that are healthy
