Look up UA-cam videos about how to deal with abused dogs. They will tell you to take the emotion out of it (basically stop trying to baby a dog), give them a crate to sleep in and eat in, leash them all day and walk around the house with the dog give them time to get to know you before putting them in training. Treats and i growl back till i see belly. Dogs want to feel safe. You stuck this dog on an electrical cord. Needs a better location for bed and call bluff if you get bit pry jaw open if dog does not let go. May sound cruel but if you show fear that dog is gonna rule you with her fear.

You scared her. She doesn't understand what the phone is, as you towered over her while against a wall. If she was from a previous household, could have had an experience. Important to reassure her, get down on her level.
