Do you know where to get a set of direct drive kit what brand
Unfortunately I haven’t found any for sale anywhere for many years. If I happen to see anything in the future, I will try to send you a link. Thank you for watching.
I love it.. i wish a had one.. Sylvain from Montréal
I enjoy it quite a bit. Thank you for watching.
Great setup on the Redcat
Thank you. I have enjoyed tuning & tweaking it. Thank you for watching.
Hell yeah that turned out great! Nice Chevy too!
Thank you for watching.
Hi . Probably a daft question. Will the electric version body fit the nitro version with a bit of adjustment . Thanks rich 🇬🇧👍
Hello. I can’t say for sure if the electric body would fit or not. I haven’t got my hands on a nitro yet. Thank you for watching.
hope u are still out there... Im looking to get a Integy ARTR truck like u have or so.... Hows the rig doing today? durable? have ya broke anything, and how is it to get parts?
Hello, yes I am still out here & hope to have more videos soon. I bought my Integy the summer of 2015 & still drive him today. I have had only two issues. The driveshafts are held together with tiny C clips & if they make contact with an obstacle they pop off & driveshaft falls apart. My biggest complaint is that the differentials were designed with a lot of play in them. You can hold on to one tire & turn the other tire on the same axle 10 degrees or more back & forth. Other than that nothing has broken. Direct replacement parts are hard to find. I believe most SCX10 parts should fit. Thank you for watching.
@@thei9895 ty for the info...
@@thei9895 so im lookin at the 1.9 trail racer with the cage..and the axles look the same,maybe..C clips, internal or external, having a hard time seeing this in my head as to were they are,and is it fixable?
The C clips that I had issues with held the driveshafts together not the axles. The axles are strong, they just have to much play for me.
@@thei9895 ahhh cool...easy fix then,I got some laying around..ty again..
That’s a cool video. Good job putting it together.
I appreciate it. Thank you for watching.

I have a TRX4 Sport, that I am going to work on, and I just ordered my SCX10 II Deadbolt. I use to have the Gen 1 Deadbolt ( wish I still did ... ) But that Redcat Gen 8, I might have to get as well ... That rig impressed the hell out of me ! BTW it was a tie, because ya both had fun, and THAT was the goal !
The Deadbolt has always been a great little rig. The Gen 8 impresses almost every time I take it out. They are all awesome! I would like one of each please. Thank you for watching.
The gen 8 crawling up the rock on basically the rear tires was awesome.
My Gen 8 surprises me every time I crawl it. It’s a lot of fun. The Proline tires even in G8 compound help tremendously. Thank you for watching.
I'd take the Axial.. the Red Cat is probably okay.. but do you really want to show up to comps with a Red Cat?
Axial definitely makes a superior product. Thank you for watching.
@1:37 whats the light pad you have here i need one of these
I purchased my light pad on EBay for about $12. Amazon has them as well. I use it a lot more than I thought I would. Thank you for watching.
Fantastic Rig, great to watch it in action. Good choise of external trim accessories. Have my own gen8 v2 still stock standard, will be upgrading it soon, Keep up the great vid's.
Thank you! Always a work in process. Have fun with your V2. Thank you for watching.
And that was awesome how you snuck in the dog, hahaha👍
I thought I would pop him in there. Everyone likes their critters. Thank you for watching again.
Hell yeah bro!! I dig how it wasn't just the best of what happened, it had those oops moments also. And to the beat, hahaha
The oops are part of the fun & entertaining. To the beat was a little difficult butt a lot of fun. Thank you for watching.
Redcat! Very capable, despite massive body and a metal roof rack way up there!
I agree. My Gen 8 surprises me every time I drive it. It’s going to loose the rack soon. Thank you for watching.
@@thei9895 I love the look of the rack on my green Gen8V2! I'm willing to sacrifice some crawlability to keep it.

I am definitely a portal axle fan myself. Thank you for watching.
umm ... are you at a Hobby store? Or is that your garage! You lucky bugger! btw ... i loved the "I was shopping on eBay, for stuff i didnt need" That cracked me up, coz i can relate! Awesome build btw ... and I had no idea tracked vehicles could travel that fast ... I would have thought the G force of that track ripping around the end wheels would make them fly apart! Guess not HaHa! Love your contect, Subbed!
That’s my corner in the basement with years of projects & toys stuffed into it. I like RC’s. I try use some subtle humor to hopefully get smile here & there. eBay can be addictive. Those little Blizzards are well built & pretty solid. I have had a lot more fun with them than I ever expected. Thank you for watching & the subscribe.
Love the Bug! and DAMN, got shocks? LoL there god damn HUGE! Losi's and there shocks eh HaHa! and holy bajesus, some of those paddle tires are out of control ... ive never seen double lugged paddles before! There insane! Loved the video, the music was just the right level with the sound of the gas and nitro sneaking in when needed ... perfect!
Losi has always grabbed my attention with those big bore shocks. Both in bashing & racing. My LST is one of my favorites to drive by far! Some of the paddles are pretty gnarly looking. I try to mix it up a bit as far as brand & style, so they don’t all look the same. Thank you for the comment & feedback. Thank you for watching.
Hey mate ... how far out do you have to bring the HSN and LSN for cold conditions like that? Ive never had the pleasure of driving my RC in the snow, but i would assume you would have to richen it a bit for the colder air yah?
Hello I always turn the high end needle a little rich before I start. Weather it is a nitro or petrol engine. That day was pretty cold so I made it a little richer & lit her rip. No tuning after that. He seemed to do well. The snow was definitely fun! I had a great time that day. Thank you for watching.
@@thei9895 yah mate looks like an absolute blast! Ahh, so your a nitro man too! Awesome! Im gunna check out ya other videos then!

👍 COOL!! do the motors run hot like this?
Running pretty hard for about 30 minutes the motors got barely warm. I think with motors sitting right against the cold chassis they have trouble retaining any heat.On a 3S lipo you should be able to run it all day without worry. Thank you for watching.
