You gonna run that gun or you gonna let it run you?
The Ford 4.6 and 5.4 l modular V8 their starter the third bolt is in a spot that you cannot get to I don't care if you have a lift or don't have a lift most people don't put them back in and we'll put some blue loctite on the other two just for good measure
Still would rather own an LS or Vortec over Ford or Chrysler. Only Ford worth owning is the 7.3 international.
Those engineers mom's say you can call them whatever you want .....as long as you begin the statement with bless they little hearts.......bless they little hearts the little retards
It’s called planned obsolescence
Trying to destroy the oil industry.
Everyone knows you never go full retard.
😂 they never learn still doing stupid stuff
That’s why I buy older chevys all the new stuff sucks donkey balls anything after 2006 is complete junk and I’m talking about alll of them ford Chevy dodge Toyota Honda Nissan they all pretty much suck ass and they are not reliable after that date give or take a year or two I got an 01 GMC Yukon XL runs like a charm and I took it to Florida twice now btw it has 320657 on the dash original motor and trans still drives better then anything I’ve drove literally and comfortable as hell lol 😂
Get familiar with that area, Nissan Titan starters are also found there.
Toyota 1UZ and 2UZ starters are in there, too.
Glad my titan has the cummins, on a full diet plan of course. Starters in the normal place.....😂😂😂
Dod
Another attempt at there never happen... $239. 00 an hour dealer ship screw should be $200.00 cup of coffee & 39 dollars an hour🤮
dealer charges 240 and only pays tech 40 of that then wonders why they cant find any techs
Hahahaha tropic thunder for the win. What truck is that?
@@Lincoln-g8q gm........
@TheFlyingWrench888 all gms ? Duramax?
Then there’s also the Northstar engine where they placed what’s usually the simpler parts (starter) to replace in the valley of the engine.
Which module is that?
DOD
"HUMANS BE STUPID!"
Cause heat and cold won't stuff shit up...Great work..praise engineers
Gotta get the rest of those rockers to stop moving so they are all doing the same thing.
Collapsed lifter on a DOD motor? I don’t remember what cylinders get shut down, but that looks like a Chevy motor.
yah made with playdoh
so you had to take the top part of the engine out to replace that?
@@justingjr06jr84 what?
@@justingjr06jr84 yeah
@@TheFlyingWrench888 damn
@@justingjr06jr84 dont buy a chevy
I cant believe how lazy the industrial engineers are with their cad mesh 😂
I’ve been working a a breakfast place and that’s been happening so much lately it’s kinda annoying because they break so much easier.
??????????!!?!?!?)(?????
Stuck valve.
@@harryford3072 nope
Second rocker down not moving 🔧👍
its litski!
Ty!
Fuck you, from Ohio (UA-cam censors this is a joke)
lol i like comments like this why is youtube soo soft. only 1 time i had to use a hammer
@@TheFlyingWrench888 They removed it twice lmao. I'm still blowing rust outta my nose from 2018
Like 2 dollars to re place all of it
Easy fix, and ya sure “IT dOeNt hAppen tO other VeHIcles” 🤡
It doesnt tho
Cause everyone knows that car parts last forever.
Other cars wiring harness insulation lasts way longer than wtf gm uses
Look at a 2003 of any make. All the same
Not toyota
When used car dealers clean the engine bay, they use harsh chemicals that cause that. Age and heat will do it too eventually, but most of the time it’s their chemicals.
Stock
Not one of my Toyota vehicles plastic ever deteriorated like this
😂😂 so for a 20 - 30 yo vehicle sometimes some thin plastic will get hot and become brittle. Best part is, it probably still runs just fine. Personally, if you’re driving a 90’s truck, STILL, I don’t think you mind some brittle plastic.
If it runs fine then why is it in a shop
@@7428marcus why assume its in a shop?
Lol this is a 2012
@@TheFlyingWrench888 hmm. That's where they'll get ya. And it'll be every dog on time.
Gm doesn't make the loom
gm doesnt make the car either then
CHEVROLET COBALT 2007 - 2010 ?
Silverado. Alllll day
When youre biggest gripe is the plastic ageing... Hell yea chevy. Chevy kicks ass over all other vehicles when it comes to affordability, longevity, and maintenance.
What world are you living in? GM transmissions are probably the most precious automotive product in the past 40 years
No it doesnt lol
Trans goes out at 40k cost 5500
@@TheFlyingWrench888 nothing is perfect, some Chevy 5.3s are plagued with premature failure with the lifters... That DOD is crap . But comparatively, Chevy is better than most.
Should also put #AmericanEngineering
Its made in mexico wiring tho
I work on em daily, I’ve seen dozens of Fort Wayne plant trucks that are complete POS It’s across the board, here’s a 3/4 ton American made: ua-cam.com/users/shortslQMzh5hDWJQ?si=iEBi_LOxwSBF8HA3
Harbor freight wire loom is better quality.
You must be new to cars lol
Chevy = made in mexico
“lIkE a RoCk”
Because it’s older than dirt jackass 😭
Get a vacuum
bruh its just plastic easy fix
If you ever work on an E90 pre lci, take a peek at the headlight internal wiring. The insulation on the wires is just about always cracking off.
Must be under the hood of my 06 2500hd
Ha.. the wires look just fine so yeah really. That wire conduit did its job.. and like everyone else in here with any knowledge. Knows that vehicle is at least 2013 or before. Hope u replace what u destroyed
Not really. Its all destroyed and cheap made. Only see this on gm
$5 fix
Other cars dont need entire harness redone
@@TheFlyingWrench888I’ve had Chevys and fords and any wire close to the engine that gets hot cools off repeatedly will get brittle same with vacuum lines.
Looked like an old vortec cover on the head so it's what's at least 20 years old?
I see it with the 5 year old ones too
Well how fuckin old is it do you expect plastic in a heated environment to last forever
Exactly what I came here to say. 👍🏼
Exactly
then they should use something that’ll last longer. It should be made for the environment it’s in
@@bradyclinton7427 Then if they make everything to last forever then you'd be setting on the side of the road because you couldn't afford to buy the every lasting one!!!!
I dont see it with any other brand
😂😂😂 I live in Southern California....everything is easy.
Really nice weather there
