Hey, I haven’t made a tutorial in over a year so I apologize for this one being quite hard to follow. I’ll be happy to answer any questions in the comments if the video hasn’t been helpful enough :) Diagonal points mechanism was deemed impossible until I had the idea of making it modular, which opened up quite a few possibilities. Note: the tutorials might be sub-par and harder to follow than usual as I haven’t made a tutorial in a very long time (foreshadowing the horror of the s3 video) Currently, the only Sliding Cubes available to make on UA-cam are Sliding Cubes (original) (the red ones) and Jeremy’s take on my model. The video for Sliding Cubes 3 will be out soon.

After some work, got four points out. The vision is for diagonal points, which I am currently working on. The modular version is a success on that, so it will exist. Note: This is sliding cubes 2, 1 paper version (1P version)

Okay so you want to make a 22.5 degree crease from exactly the center of the square (which is the half point on the main diagonal line) towards the top right For guidance you should fold a pinch to halve the square from the top and use that point as a reference to bisect (split in two equal parts) I hope this helped a little bit; you can technically skip that and it’ll show up again in the video for the other piece of paper :) then from there you can go back and fold what you didn’t do

I've been lazy... 😅 this is a difficult model so that adds to it. I'd recommend starting with the original first! I've made a newer tutorial for that not too long ago. Good luck!

thank you! Oh wow, I see that now, and it looks quite weird. Is there a reason this happens, and it is harmful, if that makes sense?
@@theunknown1545Most starters do that, it's nothing to worry about. However, the earlier you fix it the better, just try playing really slowly and watch all your fingers. Make sure each finger is on the keyboard and not hanging from the edge or or in the air etc.

my friend, please save $1000 and get a Kawai ES120. You need it. I am a classical pianist, and you are going to give yourself bad habits and possibly an injury playing technical pieces such as this on this type of keyboard. If it's too expensive, pay for it monthly ($50-100/month) and find a way to pay for it. Seriously
Hello, thank you for your comment! I'd like to tell you that I have a digital piano now (a Roland) and it is much better. I don't play a lot of classical but when I play now, I really feel much better as the keys are right and the right number too. Thank you for your kind words! Nowadays I just post my compositions haha.

I actually found my real interests meanwhile, which is modern contemporary (the likes of Hania Rani and Nils Frahm). I might come back to this one day, when I am really ready. But right now, it's just a reminder of how things were before :) these days, I just post my own compositions here haha.

Problem is that with a keyboard with light keys does no good on a real piano (I’ve tried it) and the keyboard literally isn’t big enough for this song
