Fantastic book, Mr Eisler. Deep, great humour! thought provoking, exciting with unexpected twists, emotional ...... It moved me to tears! The narrator is super-expert with the accents, tones ...... All the characters well chosen ....... simply the best. THANK YOU!

Where's the end

I can't say that I actually "like" John Rain character but overall an interesting premiss. First two books set in Japan were interesting and from what I know about Japanese politics the plot was well thought out and not that implausable. I started to lose interest in book three when I started to see that it the story was starting to veer into the "Arabs" bad Isreal good propaganda line. I stopped listened early into Book Four when my worst fears were confirmed. Not only was Rain now killing for Israel but he is also contiuing to use his sniper mate. The last 12 months have shown what Israel really is and they use snipers not only to kill military oponents but most of their targets are chilren and civilians. So I will not continue with this series.

Really good, slow moving storyline, with pockets of excitement. Has a Bosch feel to it.... with a hint of Jason Bourne... Spoiler - hated the ending!

Must be difficult to combine your career as an assasin as well as keeping up your apperance as an travel guide.

I have read books 1 and 2 which I really enjoyed Then I read Zero Sum which deals with Rain as a green 30 something year old. I enjoyed the story but hated that John Rain was depicted as so naive. I love John Rain as originally depicted ❤
