If I'm not mistaken, this was the Fairdale tornado that started in rochelle. I remember seeing it on the news when I was 12, and it was a monster. It was shy a couple mph of becoming an EF-5
I would appreciate more screaming and panic. It would be better if the woman in the background became completely unhinged and flipped out. Perhaps ran around the yard screaming incoherently.

I totally agree Crooked^^ I thought for sure when it went behind those trees 🌳.....it was gonna pop out coming straight at them!!! I literally had my hand up 🤚....I was very relieved to see a magnificent tornado 🌪 not seeming to hurt much while we all watched it^^ At mad props to the guy who filmed this!!!👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌🙌👍👍👌👌✌✌ You had both guts & kool under pressure unlike your wife who sounded like she was calling the whole city! I do hope it stayed out of any residential or town areas tho...& noone got hurt.

Isn't this the same tornado that Clem Schultz was caught in, and his wife was killed? I'm totally blind, so that's why I'm asking, because I remember how quickly that tornado caught up with him when he was upstairs in his room, and he saw that thing coming right toward him. He was mesmerized! If anyone knows whether or not this is the same tornado, please update the comments. Also, just in case you're wondering, I'm typing this myself by memory and with help from my trusty text-to-speech software that tells me what I'm typing. This way, I can correct my mistakes as I go. I do feel the one death in your tornado could of been avoided. He should of ran downstairs to get his wife out and run . They had plenty of time actually
@@turdferguson7112 I'm pretty sure is the same tornado that went on to hit Fairdale. A older gentleman has a video here on YT. He was on the 2nd floor before his house was demolished. He survived but his wife downstairs did not. I think he thought it would turn or not do much damage. One of the most frightening and sad tornado video's ever in my opinion.
@@SummerLeigh12 I've seen that video!! He went upstairs to get something and got caught. Mesmerized by it! It really sucks you in. No pun lol. His wife died in it? That's horrible! You know.... so many people in the summer just on their porch, drinking some tea, enjoying the beautiful weather. Then out of nowhere.....boom. Just a scary thought that you can go from sitting next to the person you've been married to for 30+ years, just enjoying each other and within minutes, your life is in serious danger! Yikes!
