In fact there is no sound. Mostly because the sound was just some noise on the guitar. I was justa testing if the FW-410 was able to record sound. And it is! Later I used to make some recordings and the quality is very good (despite the quality of the sound to be recorded... :) )

+Gabriele Gallani Hi there! I just plugged the FW-410 on the firewire port and it worked. No drivers needed. I use Debian Gnu/Linux. I installed the ffado packages and the rebooted the computer with the FW-410 on and the command `ffado-test ListDevices` listed both the firewire adapter and the FW-410 itself. You can use it directly as root or add you regular use to some group (I forgot which one) to have it working without superuser privileges. To recored i used jack throught the qjackctl to connect in/outs of FW-410 to the ardour software (that I used and recommend to record). It you want some digital effects on your sound you can use rakarrak between the output of FW-410 and input of ardour. Feel free to ask anything I missed here. Good luck! May the force be with you.

+Gabriele Gallani Which packages caused problems on installation? I don't remember exactly, but I also had to install some firmware (not sure if for the firewire port or the bluetooth, that has nothing to do with the FW-410). Is your firewire port recognized? (use "ffado-test ListDevices" as root to see it).
