Why 0 stars?
Mainly the noise as stated in the description review, there's alot of loud noises behind the walls all night, not OK for the prices they charge! Also at the bottom of the review we mention the conduct of the staff taking extra money they didn't earn from customer accounts. All round not acceptable, 0 stars and not recommended.

If they're selling the property as a hotel, why use such noisy slam doors? Surely any ordinary doors would be quieter.

@@madeanaccounttospillthebor9568 Just a question i'm puzzled with, arent fire safety doors supposed to be sealed all around, thus preventing air travelling through that would help fire spread? These doors were completely unsealed which is why every noise travelled freely into the room. I checked, theres nothing in the gaps only wood.
When I was a child on holiday with family and we saw a mosquito in the hotel, my dad would always say it was the same one from home that came with us in the car all along! Thanks Dad! :D

UPDATE: They eventually refunded us only when threatened with Trading Standards, even then they still chose not to address the complaint or apologise properly. Avoid all IHG and Holiday Inn brands unless you enjoy being ignored or given the runaround!
