As a SWE I think in a few years you will see companies like Klarna walk back on their stance. The software AI creates is not as efficient as human made. Also the bugs it creates take someone skilled to catch and fix I don’t think they will lower their costs unless the software is very simple.
Why would they walk back their stance in a few years? Sure build quality isn’t as high for production code, but isn’t that what they are optimizing for? SWE’s roles will change from tactical to strategic… sure bugs will need to get fixed, but AI is/will soon be more efficient to do so
Your pitch comes to early, there''s no hook. Tell me who is this vid for and what is in for me. I am in the SaaS and Enterprise business since 10y and share your idea, but have no incentive to watrch you video. I know it's hard. I hope I dont bring you down. Optmize the first 30s and your channel will grow. I tell you that, in sympathy! <3

Great insights. But enterprise behaviour is hard to alter. They have been sufficiently marketed to stay on their current platform for years. Even though AI is going in the right direction to replace these, too many issues currently and enterprises hate risk.
The fact that enterprises hate risk is exactly why companies like 8090 are able to eat away their profit margins so easily. Startups that are risk on will take customers from risk off enterprise SaaS companies.

Currenly using replit and claude to build a saas, replit still halucinates but saves time on basic small tasks

Nice idea bro, just worried about people emailing me to refund the money, and it might become a tiring process. But yeah great idea, it had worked for some people.
Good question, if they ask for a refund, that’s fine. Refunds are easy to give. However if no one or few people buy the idea, then you know you shouldn’t build it anyway and give refunds to everyone. You saved yourself thousands of hours building something no one cares about
This is exactly how a company like OpenAI for example, has done that so far!
OpenAI knows what's up. Give it away for free, get 1M users in 30 days or less, then monetize once you have an audience.

What do you think about doing outbound (cold email, linkedin and twitter) with a lead magnet that gives everything away. From there some convert directly into a free trial/demo and the others get nurtured through email. Do you recommend the above or building a community?
Most cold outbound, especially with AI and automations hasn't done much for us recently. I'd focus on more unique ways of getting high quality prospects rather than the bulk approach. Depends on where you are at in your journey though!
