Let’s talk some Heavy Metal and Hard Rock with me in my Metal mancave. I like most genres of Heavy Metal with my favourites being Thrash, Speed, Power, Hard Rock, Traditional Metal and I’m starting to dive head first into some Death Metal. We can talk about collecting and my obsession with Heavy Metal on Vinyl and hunting and digging for new and old Records, CDs and Cassettes. This is a not for profit channel.

Not much left in the way of 80s early 90s thrash I don’t already have but I’m probably not aware of lots of great stuff still out there. Always learning about something new that I don’t know. This is what’s great about the YT metal vinyl community 🤘 cheers
You got that right mate the new Zealand dollar is shit but not far behind the Aussie dollar. That Roxus is pretty expensive on cd aswell. I have a couple of songs on 7inch but havnt got a hope in hell of finding a full length on vinyl. On the Mortal sin which album art do you prefer?. I dig the Opera house 1 myself. Its a shame on the reissue the artwork is darker than the original. I have an og picture disc of Rust In Peace but not sure how much that would go for. The pressing doesnt sound the greatest though. Killer Sodom ogs there too mate😃🤘
I like both album covers of Mayhemic but the first pressing has a certain rough charm to it 🤘I’ll keep a lookout for Roxus Nightstreet on any format for you. Cheers bro

Imagine me trying to fit a kallax and stereo system in a motor home 🤔 where there’s a will…..😂 Dismember OGs went up in value after the box set came out, first time I’ve seen that happen

I have the newest Sodom, but haven't really gone further back. Kreator is the German thrash I like most of the four, and I have all their albums
You should definitely check out some early Sodom. It’s verging on Black Death metal, so brutal for thrash 🤘I used to own everything from Kreator but I got rid of the 90s stuff as I never listened to it.

Awesome video. Some cool music you showed. I wonder if it would be better not to know the value of those records. When they're worth triple digits I would treat them differently and maybe not play them knowing if something happened the value would plummet. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Those O.G " Dismember " albums are really shooting up in value💰 They have appeared in a few of these videos. Impressive amount of metal you have picked up this year, I have had a fantastic collecting year in my own small way as well. I was shocked to see that Helloween album, as I thought it was a C.D only release, a thing of beauty!. Finally yes the N.Z doller is the worse of the bunch😁🤘

I love the timing of the scream in the background right when you said "$50" :D If it's any comfort, the AU dollar is worth around 4.50 Danish Kroner. Love the Eviction shirt. I'd expect the original artwork version of 'Mayhemic' destruction to be more expensive than the Vertigo version. I like 'The Ritual' too - the two forst tracks are excellent. Cool Frost pic disc!
I didn’t notice that when reviewing before I posted this vid😝 that’s a little comforting knowing that some countries currency is worse than ours, not good for you when you’re shopping internationally. The Ritual is so underrated, I would have it in my top 5 Testament albums. The second Mayhemic pressing was a surprise being more expensive than the first, weird stuff happening there I think 🤔

A pic disc I sold last year I was surprised went for so much was In Flames Clayman. Good to hear you have a plan for the collection mate after you get the enjoyment out of them. Great video, buying collections is a great well to "save" when buying records, only been able to do that twice, but the overall saving is usually quite big compared to buying them one by one. I always miss out on that Testament, picked up a tape recently instead, as I got so fed up of missing out on things I was late to see listed online haha. Persecution Mania I got in a collection, Jealous of those Sodom's you have there! So hard to get at a price I can cope with. Ever Flowing Stream I found while on a birthday dig around London 2 years ago, treated myself. No merch sheet though :| Good long term plan with the records hahaha 🚚🌲🌲
Same here mate, I’ve been lucky to buy from 2 awesome metal collections in the last few years, first one I got super cheap but this recent one I paid up but considering I got them all in one hit and didn’t have to search for them all individually and pay shipping on each one I still did very well. All the work of putting together a network of contacts, shops, websites and sellers has definitely paid off in the last few years. Definitely need an end plan for all this as I don’t want my family to be stuck with it all later on. Cheers for watching

I have been really enjoying the new Kerry King album which I am surprised about as Slayer apart from 2 albums which I love are not my go to band when I want my thrash fix. I was looking at picking up the new Exhorder myself but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Nice stack of all things rock and metal mate😃🤘

Still thinking about that Kerry King album, but have not listen to it yet, same with the new Morbid Saint. The Suicidal Angel release I got on vinyl and I like it a lot, but not as much as their previous release.

I definitely prefer to spend on OG records than new releases and save a few dollars buying new CDs.

Morgana le Fey. Bloody hell mate i totally forgot about that band. 1993 was a year of throwing out a few albums like that and they all went under the radar. Check out Souls at Zero self titled from the same year. I haven't heard the Kerry King album yet but the songs i have heard it's not the riffs that were the issue. Its laddos shouty vocals which is why i cant stand the comeback era Death Angel. Sadus I felt was a bit slow and alllllll tttthhhhheeee vvvvooocccaaaals were dragged out. Not much rapid fire anymore.
The debut Morgana Lefay album has been a killer better late than never discovery for me. Hard one to find for cheap but I got lucky finding it out of Japan. Cheers for the recommendation and I think Morbid Saint is my favourite new thrash release so far but I’m still waiting for a copy of Atrophy to arrive.

Good pick-ups. I was lucky to find a Gammacide OG for €30 I think it was. I saw Suicidal Angels live once. Good band for sure. I have a couple of Shy records. Sounds like I should pick that one up too.

Some titles in there you wont stumble accross in Oz much if ever at all. That DETHRONE is amazing as is pretty much the whole haul. Its xmas come early when you get the opportunity to cherry pick from a collection like that. \m/
