Combing out my 6 year old locs
Переглядів 6 тис.2 місяці тому
I decided to comb out my locs after 6 years! I’m excited. I have no expectations though - I’m just looking forward to taking care of my natural hair again 🤗 #combingoutlocs #naturalhair #type4hair
Your hair is beautiful.
@@sharoncarty5096 thank you 🙏🏾
Please do a video styling your natural hair - like a stretch out video Rarely see them for our hair texture ❤️❤️
@@boitumelomagwaza7380 I hardly style my hair, but I’ll consider making one 🤭
I just started combing out my locs. I started in the back of my head. I fell asleep and woke up feeling guilty for combing it out and considered combining the loose hair into my other locs in the back. Then later on in the day, I wanted to continue combing out my locs. I don't know what to do. I might be coping with some trauma.
@@iamme50 aww 🫂, just remember why you decided to comb them out, hopefully that will lessen the guilt
I just started coming out one of mine and have been watching the videos of others hair after. I have 4c hair and Im concerned 😂
How often do you wash your hair?
@@azizam359 once a week 🌼

@@sivegixana672 thank you 🫶🏾
You're definitely trying with the video improvement! I guess you'll be taking a break from Jabu stone - there's a new fave in town 😍 Loved this video and how calm you are!
@@malwandemthethwa thank you for watching! Still love the Jabu stone, I always use it as a second option if a shampoo is too drying. Luckily the Nu-Hair one is not and has become a favourite too
Very useful video. Thanks!
You’re welcome 🌼
My hair is very similar to yours. I'm trying to make it grow to my waist
It's a pretty short video. Anyone wanting it shorter can fast forward for themselves. 💛
@@M.T.-qm4rt thank you for watching and for the feedback 🌼
@@mrsboldbeauty You're quite welcome. Keep up the good work.
Such an informative video. Love it! As for to fast forward or not, I think do what works for you. I enjoy watching you care for your hair either way 💕
@@malwandemthethwa thank you 🙏🏾 🌼
Thanks for sharing your journey, just difficult to hear you.
Thank you for watching 🌼
I've been waiting for this upload! You've retained a lot of length!
@@allthingspay thank you for watching. Yes I have ey 🌼
Subscribed and binged all your videos! I want to start coming on my locs and excited to see how your hair journey progresses!
@@nia.aleese thank you 🙏🏾
I been growing my dreads for like 1 year , and I’m keep it kinda like yours I’m let it touch my back but if it get too long I’m cut some of it

I’m in the process of combing out my locs - I have 24 left to go. I originally had 95 locs and so far, it takes about 1 hour for each one. What did you use to comb out your locs and how long did it take? 😊
I used water and conditioner plus a rat tail comb. It took me 2-3 hours for one loc so you are lucky! All the best
Wow, you really did it. 11days! I can't imagine it. love it though❤
Loved watching this detailed video of your process. Shuuu, what a task! You must have unlocked a new level of patience 😅
@@malwandemthethwa I certainly did 😂
Great job! I'm definitely convinced I can do it; my locks are at my bum so I'm already cramping and crying just at the idea 😢😅
@@kgomotsogktlhapi9709 you can do it 🫶🏾
I had mine for 7 yrs (I cut them Bob length then combed them out) back on my loc journey 9 months in. 😂
❤
@@sivegixana672 ❤️
Please do a video of hair growth products😩
I will 🫶🏾
Looking great keep it up
Thank you 🙏🏾

Wow. Interested to see what’s next for your hair journey! 🙌🏾❤️
Thank you for watching 🫶🏾
Well done!! My arms hurt just watching!
Thank you 🙏🏾…😂😂 my arms and back really felt it
What did you use as a detangler, n how were you keeping it
What do you mean how was I keeping it? I used water, conditioner and rat tail comb to comb out the locs
How do you detangled your hair?
I saturated the locs with water and conditioner, and used a rattail comb to pick and detangle the locs
I detangled mine after 5 years
Were you happy with the end results?
@@mrsboldbeauty since I was having natural hair, i was ok.
