I catch crawfish and it’s annoying when you see a big one, and you almost catch it but it gets away.

Where is this at and what bait do you use?
It’s on the Columbia river in the gorge and I used my burnt oil 4.5” action worm I make. That was definitely the bait of the weekend 74 fish in 9 hours of fishing!

Yes they are. Makes for an easy and inexpensive meal for the crappie.
@@SmokeAndTackle use rosy red minnows they're super inexpensive even though there small they are better for crappie then goldfish as goldfish have mucus and can cover the tank with floating gold scales they also can be found at big box pet stores
haha i tried one of these traps in a really small pong and caught one little guy and 2 baby catfish. it was funny how they all held on to the cage like "dont let me go!"
Right hahaha it’s a pretty simple trap but they work well. I’m going to make a better trap this year.

It’s easier to snatch em with 2 fingers I have a creek I catch them in every year and I go under with a snorkel using 2 fingers
Hey, I saw one of your older posts about the crappie tank and I was wondering. Is their any type of crappie I could keep inside of a planted 75?
You could keep small black and white crappie in a 75 but they would have to be around 3 inches a full grown crappie would be too big for that tank.
