My honest opinion is that, this isn't a transfer window where we should be looking to the future. We should be looking to keep Danny happy by backing him and improving the team. Signing a kid who we'll just send out on loan isn't going to do that. I'm seriously worried that DC doesn't have the cash, and as we all know, a chairman with no cash is as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

We got a decent Scottish player called Bannon a few years ago, it's done quite well for Sunderland bringing through younger players. It seems to have been a slow transfer window everywhere no club seems to have brought in many players as yet. My fear was that as has happened in the past we would be beaten to our targets, I'm not saying that won't happen this time but it is good to hear that players wants to come. We are a more attractive proportion that in recent seasons, w e all know where our weaknesses lie hopefully we can address these areas soon.

The club set up under Chansiri is at fault. Rohls transfer dealings have been the worst for years. We need a knowledgeable director of football to bring in signings and then Rohl coaches them. Solid championship status will be the best we can achieve under this set up

From his comments it sounded like he was of the thought we needed offensive help as his patience of never capitalising or creating enough was wearing thin. We didn’t need a cup run so only mildly disappointed with the result. The squad might get a chance for a bit of a rest now as they are looking a bit tired.

Some positives there. Notably Icke and Olaf. Thinking for the team/squad moving forward. If McNeil ain't going to play in this one he ain't going to play. So a loan might be looking likely. He may have proved less rusty than Olaf. But at least Olaf got some minutes. Musaba can keep popping up and the goal is good for him. You ought to do an analysis on Ugbo this season to last. Look at the games Jake. Nothing critical but just a focus on the understanding to why the goals are proving tough. I agree it's harder for him to lead the line solo. Not a Povada there either. Though one to take played well in spells some good individual performances particularly Pierce and Shea. Kobacki looked decent if a bit rusty.we can't defend corners properly and other teams know about it, penalties are a lottery hard lines lads. Agree about Ugbo maybe he needs a couple of matches on the bench coming on in the last twenty instead of starting. Do you think the fact that Shea played probably means he is staying?
