We work with a local hedgehog rescue and often get their opinion on our regulars. Generally unless there is more than 10 visible ticks and it also looks like there is some bad body condition we just keep track of them. If there's more then we will hog-nap to get them removed 😊
They're definitely not the quietest of creature especially for how small they are! I can hear them "chuffing" at night and they're not even in my yard haha
Totally! We like to keep an eye on them in case they need to be hog-napped to the local hedgehog rescue for help :) And they're also very silly and cute.
@@rasa7338 I don't think I kept it in an upcoming video but the rat was most upset when the doors were installed. It actually tunneled under the station and tried to come up through the floor! It didn't make it but it was very interesting to see clips of the whole station jumping a bit haha
@@tevashkevich2859 lol, I heard once the rat came from underground to hibernating hogs wooden house and chewed hogs feet and paws, they can be vicious!
Glad you like it. We like making sure they're doing well while remaining very wild :) I mostly upload these videos just so they don't take up all my computer space haha!
Very much so! They're on the vulnerable to extinction list unfortunately which is why we put out food and water for them (and spy on them with cameras to make sure they're healthy as they can be :) )
Tis a rat unfortunately. We're trying to deter it, but obviously we can't really trap or anything else as it might hurt the hogs. We move things around the yard to try to make it not come back...but he still does :(
@@tevashkevich2859 Bummer. I didn’t think about that with the trapping. It was the same size as the hog but don’t really know the size of a hog so wasn’t sure sure which it would be.
Are those hedgehogs? Or porcupines? And slugs?
They are wild hedgehogs that roam through our back garden in the UK and yes there are often a lot of slugs haha.
It's a sock puppet, a cute one too
Hah, I can assure you this is not a sock puppet. Just a wild hedgehog
It looks like the hog has tiks. Has it been to a rehabilitation?

There definitely was a lot of them for a while haha!

Is that a hedgehog?
Indeed it is :) We have a bunch of regularly visiting hedgehogs in the back garden. All the videos on this channel are just us watching them
33:08 the rat came back
It's about as far as it ever comes in after the addition of the doors haha
31:37 friendly lunch 🦔🐀
I've since 3d printed some doors that the rat doesn't like haha
@@tevashkevich2859 awesome, I was wondering if you did something to prevent it from coming back 😀

@@rasa7338 It wouldn't surprise me to be honest since they can be pretty rough...
nice to see the life of animals. from life and without music

Yup, we had a hog for a large part of the winter this year (They've woken up and are back to crunching :) )

Hi Hedgehog 🙏
SAVE HEDGEHOG'S FOR LIVE
👍⚕️🦔🦖🦔⚕️👍
great idea, i will try making this too. thanks!
Please do! You can make a feeding station very easily and it makes such a big difference to the little hogs!
Was that one night only?
Yup! All of these videos are one night till the morning of the next day (say about 7am usually)
Hedgehogs still exist!
Very much so! They're on the vulnerable to extinction list unfortunately which is why we put out food and water for them (and spy on them with cameras to make sure they're healthy as they can be :) )

Those slugs don’t move very fast eh! 23:20 😂 The hedgehogs sure eat and drink a lot!
