This is how deep this storyline, from my young years as a French Canadian who barely understood the English language, struck me. I legitimately can't think of a better character (subjectively) in any video game or fictional work: Wonderfully relatable, kind, selfless, gentle, with everyone she loves in her thoughts at all times. A real true blue ride-or-die, who loves and fights with equal fierceness. In terms of gameplay, easily the most fun to play as in the entire group (again, subjectively) - incredibly fluid movements, easy to understand combo strings, and every hit just feels impactful in the most satisfying way. I can't understand any hate or dislike for her (but then again, I am very biased). She is just a beautiful character - a beautiful PERSON, and I can't think of someone I'd rather be real so I can tell her how much she matters to so many. She could use the confidence boost.

I'm glad to see this theme get the attention it deserves. This game was a big part of my childhood, and the betrayal before the final boss was quite a surprise. Hilda's theme feels like it's lulling the world into it's eternal slumber, where Zelda's lullaby is meant to be a simple melody to help the princess fall asleep.
