Thank you for your interest in my videos! I'd love to help, but I'm not quite sure what you mean by "tone" in this context. Are you referring to the key, or perhaps the practice contents?

Hi, I started when I was 46. I also subscribed to piano with Jonny and it was excellent choice to begin with. I ended with Open Studio as my final but it was beyond my reach during my first year of learning. Keep practicing! Cheers!

Stumbled on this while browsing backing tracks and thought "what the heck, I'll give it a listen". Keep up the great work, sounds good and promising! The phrase starting at 2:15 and ending with you circling the tonic had VERY good time feel. "Perfectly pensive" popped into my head when I heard it.
