Cappadocia is awesome. Definetely looks a lot like the Western US but if you’re in Türkiye I would say you gotta go. The hostel we stayed at had no one else there so basically a private room all for $25 a night. Take a look to see some epic drone footage of the rock formations

Awesome day to end the trip. Checked out the blue mosque, basilica cistern, Nişanca hamam (our 3rd favorite out of 3) and went to Asia (on a ferry that cost 85 cents. And had to end the trip with our favorite meal: ciya sofrasi. Such an incredible place!

Great day with not much of a plan. Not a huge fan of the Grand Bazaar. Had a great conversation with a volunteer at the mosque and learned a lot more about Islam and its principles through it. Took a boat without knowing where it was going, got a haircut, walked around a bit more, and then tired Çag kebab which was so fire. It skyrocketed in price- 48 liras in 2019 to 300 in 2024. That’s scary ...

Insane day in Istanbul. Stand out activities - incredible Turkish bathhouse experience at Kadirga Hamami, 10/10 kebabs at Dürümcu Mustafa, and of course the must sees like Hagia Sophia and Topkapi palace. Already putting this city at top 2 in the world

Stuffed 7 people into a small 5 seater car and had a time at Popecatépetl. It was smoking of its top, no lava though. Best part of the day was getting a ride down from some nice local with a truck after a long 4 hour trek through the forest

Cremita, flan, esquites, tacos birrias, and chapulines all tried in one day. The history behind the Cholula pyramid is fascinating and worth looking into- the Spanish covered it up in the 1500s and it is the biggest pyramid in the entire world (from the base)

Ran around the city, made Paella, went to the club with Zach’s parents, sent Templo de de Bod. So vibes

Explored the castles and town in Siiiiintra with Walt and Bayley. So vibes. Ended the day in Cascais (cashcaishhh) and got a crazy GoPro clip of a jellyfish underwater. Ended the night at pink st (a classic). Obrigado Lisbon, it was real
