How I build a Helix titanium folding bike frame bag using gray VX21 XPAC fabric
How I build a Helix Bicycle Framebag.
This week's video is another making of Helix Bicycle Framebag. This time I'm making 2 zippers on one side while there will be no zipper on the other side. Since it is 2 zippers on one side, I have also included a removable divider to separate both front and back zipper.
Also, I've updated my online shop, so make sure you're there on time if you are interested in obtaining something. (www.sixrollingwheels.com).
Thanks for watching!

Nice work man! Wondering why you put all those clips on the bag when it was already sewn up? Then you just took them off. Would have enjoyed seeing the final product in use on a bike. Thanks.
Love thiss..every summer I pull out my little black kislux clutch and this summer I'm coming out with new heels so that will be my summer wear.
If you have to go through so much trouble to tell a fake is a fake, then I don't understand why you would make such a fuss about buying the real thing. I would happily buy a fake kislux and have no shame in admitting it is a fake
I like your use of templates and tools! I just started sewing to make my son clothes because he's two and can somehow stain / destroy pants in record time and I've been looking for ideas how to achieve reproducibility as a home sewer. I'll really like those clamps too; I'll need to find some as I just moved my cutting mat onto a flat drafting desk so it would be perfect.
Actually, I have been learning how to make clothes for myself recently. It is very different from making bags. Learning new things everyday! Oh yes, the clamps are very handy making fabric flat on the table and making cutting easy too. Have fun with your sewing projects. :)
Your videos are always amazing and inspiring! keep up the excellent work!
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. I have been learning new thing everytime I started a new project.
Very nice! I'm still building up the courage to get some xpac to play with.
Thank you so much! IKR, it is a very expensive fabric to fiddle with.
Nice Video! What kind of model/machine is shown at the beginning of the video? :)
Thank you so much! The machine I use is Juki 1508NH
08:14 Good to see the Employment Engagement Manager making an appearance to check all is well ❤ Nice bag.
Hi! Did you use any foam for structure?
Hi, I didn't.
Thanks for showing your beautiful work! It’s very helpful for someone like myself trying to learn. I’ve noticed you often baste stitch your liner to your exterior fabric before assembly. Do you like this method more than basting tape or just clipping multiple layers?
Hi, thank you so much for your comment. I actually uses both method depending on the thickness of the fabric and the complexity on the sewing.
you really inspire me. May I ask what sewing machine you use? I plan to try starting to sew.
Thank you so much!! Hope you have started some sewing projects. I uses few sewing machine now but I remember I started on using Brother Innovis Home machine before I progress using industrial machine.
its a pleasure see how you work
Thank you so much!
I’m sat her making my 35th shit stuff sack thinking I could’ve been making one of these pretty soon 😂
I love to see your bag soon :)
Great video and great job. I was wondering what was the black fabric and the kind of plastic used to reinforce the sides of the bag?
The black fabric is a Hypalon fabric which provide extra protection against friction and abrasion.
I’m Cukur’s what halving the material And cutting corners into the fabric and zippers does. Is it for alignment?
Hi there, yes it is for alignment purposes.
After sewing my second framebag with X-Pac-VX21, I can say that your tutorials have been the most instructive and helpful videos for my MYOG ambitions. When you are in the sewing process, your craftsmanship and how you set up each of the steps makes so much sense. So far I'm doing my stuff on a normal household sewing machine. May I ask about the model you are using in this video (other than the Juki LK 19000 Bartaking machine)? Thanks for your tutorials and the great work.
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement.
What amazing cratfmanship! Very curious about what all those machines are. Do they all do one single thing or do some have multiple usecases?
Thank you so much! I uses different machine for different parts of the bag.
This video is so quality. You should be getting way more attention for your beautiful work!
Thank you so much for watching the videos.
What is the machine at 10:38 that does that hem?
It is a PFAFF 335 industrial machine
You should definitely make a sewing machine tutorial. There are many simple pouch making tutorials but yours just look especially professional.
Thank you so much!
Where did you get your lash tabs? Are you making those yourself?
Hi there, I laser cut them on Hypalon fabric.
Using a grommet on the drawstring is a great idea. I’ll have to try that on the next ones I make. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!
Could you make the plan for this project available to me? Congratulations on your craftsmanship, the quality is incredible!
Thank you so much! A sewing project will be a great idea. Let me think how to go about it!
J'adore comment tu utilises la pince pour coudre !! Super vidéo !
Thank you very much!
Hello from New Zealand. I am absolutely loving your videos, thanks for sharing! Can I ask what the claps are that you hold the pattern templates and fabric called or where you source them? I've never seen those before and they look perfect, thanks, Scott
Hi,thank you so much for watching the videos. I got those claps when I was in Japan. It is very useful to hold the fabric together during cutting.
最近尝试自己做车头包,难度比想象的大很多,翻车又拆线好多次。
我剛開示自學縫紉也翻車了很多次。縫多了就會熟悉了。
Great video, really nice music, perfect work!!! Best Regards from Germany Paul
Thank you very much!
Witam mam pytanie jaką masz maszynę do obszywania krawędzi taśmą? Chodzi o nazwę i model ?

谢谢
Hi, where did you get the block/frame attachment from?
Hi,I got it from online store from Lazada Singapore
This is so awesome. Is there a place to see a photo of the bag on the Helix bike? Beautiful work!
Coming soon!
Very nice video, you’ve just got yourself a new saddler subscriber! Maybe instead of using this much amount of clips, hammering the stitches as if it’s leather might help to mark the corners/edges. I’m gonna try with some vx42
Good idea!
where to buy this fabric design???? 😍😍
Hi, you can get it from ripstopbytheroll.com/
How to contact & buy this saddle bag from you ?
Hi, you can send me an email hello@sixrollingwheels.com
I honestly just ordered a T-bag from China, which fills most my needs. With two extra small bags along the stempost and a cover for rain, + I'm able to change my front according to my liking for the day, sorry. Finn. Denmark
Exquisite work as always. Amazing.
Thanks again!🎉
2:25 search this Pig snout (lash point). google this the-definitive-guide-that-you-never-wanted-anatomy-of-a-backpack

браво ,Маэстро не одного лишнего движения .прекрасная работа .
so glad you posted! I've been thinking of making something like this! glad I found your channel :D
Thank you so much! Start making one, it is not only a good bag for bike packing, it is my grocery bag as well. Have fun!
can I ask you what your go to lining fabric is? I tried some 1.6oz hyperD eco and it is just fraying way too much :/ @@frenchescarthecraftsmaker
Hi @denisbelya3079, I am using T210 nylon fabric for all my inner lining. Hope it helps you for your bag making.
Hi! Great work! Which size thread do you use for outer panels (decorative seam around zipper)? Thanks!
I have been using Serafil 40 Tex 70 thread. There are very sturdy and and easy to sew.
I"m working with mesh for the first time and I'm curious how you pleated yours into the elastic? It's proving to be a bit of a nightmare
Hi there, it can be a nightmare working with mesh material. I think maybe you might need to sew it using a wider width like 3mm - 4mm.
From what material are your templates made of? I like that practice to get consistant results and work faster at the same time
The template is a 2mm cardboard from local art shop.
