@@alanconnors if that happens, look up the command to run the next quest automatically and you should have a fixed game after that. I have the same issue, but nobody else has said they ran into this so I hadn’t mentioned it till now. It seems to be a rare recurrence. We’re finishing the quest will not automatically start the next one, starting the next one will fix this.

@ yeah I did that and then after like 3/4 main mission I went back to the professor to complete a secondary quest and “in search of past glory” started again, & had to use even more commands to fix that

@@rol5432 i’m sorry for not clarifying, but this method is not to enable you to be able to speak to him. What you’re doing Is completing the mission that requires you to speak to him with a Consol command and then giving you the item that he would have given you had you finished that mission with another console command at the mechanic.

even with this new update i’m still unable to get passed this

@@danielredziniak2996 you wont need to talk to him, you are skipping that step.

seems you may have installed the mod wrong, walk back through the steps in the vid and be sure to reboot your game

Try F10. Tilde didn't work for me either.

yes you need to run the command to finish the missons

i had that problem for a bit. to fix keep going till it auto saves then load that save it will fix that bug

@@takto101 Thank you, this comment saved me. Once I finished the quest it autosaved but that was a wildly stressful 45 or so minutes knowing if I died I would have to redo the X-5 lab part (again)

Yes go do some side quests and go back to him, it should refresh his avatar since u aren't in the area while you where doing those side quests

@ it is mentioned in the patch notes as being fixed so I believe that there was a mistake in fixing it.

did the quests just begin normally after visions? or were you having to put in codes every time

@ they started normally. There was one problem on Happiness for Everyone I had to do the codes again

I just loaded up a previous save.(I save often) then I saved right in front of him and kept loading it up again and again. Then I ran around bunker and for some reason that set off the quest. Because went I came back to him he spoke to me

@ I’ve done like 8 side missions coming back and checking in between all of them save reloading and everything nothing works. Slavic jank

Do onslaught missions and as you complete the 12 missions for the brave weapons, you will level him to 17

Developed over years after the fall of the soviet union it truly is a mission of pure love by developers for a title that was near and dear to their hearts. In return it became that way for those of us lucky enough to play the game on pc. I have played the titles many times over the years. Each go around allowed me to add more visual mods to upgrade the experience. The new trailer looks amazing. The graphics look like the next evolution of gaming for pc. I just hope it runs better on the hardware of today. Although I am lucky enough to have the gaming rig I could only dream of in days past I hope its enough. We may need to have the story spread out over multiple expansions but in this day and age when corporations control game development we have little choice in this and neither does the developer. if the multiplayer is a big, fallout 76-esc game world then armor skins would make engagements difficult, i do hope it of no consequence though. maybe some skins could be locked to certain armor.

i have yet to try that, how hard is it to setup?

@@GammerNumberOne Not hard at all in fact probably one of the easiest stalker mods to set up. Playing it is a different story. The mod is BRUTAL to the point where I couldn't even enjoy it for a while but thankfully there is a boatload of options to customize the game experience. I made player damage taken a bit more forgiving and damage dealt increased.
