A new speedrun approaches! - Streets of Rogue
Here is my first attempt at completing a speedrun for Streets of Rogue. Starting with the Robot, which is the most popular Speedrun character for this game. I'm just happy I could just finish a run and am interested in trying different characters in the future.

Note that this upload is a recording of me recording the original video file with a timer as I messed up the original timer. Whoops.

Decided to try a new Bomberman game and went for one of his oft forgotten arcade games. After a couple of days of practice I got some full runs in and got a World Record time of 23:33.

I'm not sure how I feel about just straight-up killing off player 2 in the Dice Palace. I mean, yeah, it's faster but come on, what's the point of having a co-op run if one player deliberately takes themselves out of the game for a fifth of it?
I understand the thought, but the whole of dice palace is non-coop anyway. If both players we're alive, as explained during the run, we would be taking turns on the board, and then fighting the enemies separately anyway; so might as well make it faster by having one person moving through the palace.

Where are the bonus stages?

It's been a couple of decades since I played this, but I recall the clock item only slows down the level timer, so it's like getting twice as much time (but not twice the bonus points, just missing out on half as many), and it's one of the few items that doesn't do anything extra when used in multiple. So, useful when you're struggling to reach everything, but maybe not so useful if you already speedran Windria 9 without a problem.
