Переглядів 3,7 тис.5 місяців тому
In this video we’re resetting one of our partial trawls it’s lost a few traps over the winter so it’s a little different then the buoy gear and 20 trap trawls you will usually see on my channel. Enjoy! #maine #lobster #fishing #nature
Catching my GREAT Grandfathers trap while Maine Lobster Fishing!
Переглядів 2395 місяців тому
In this video we haul up what’s left of an old “ghost” trap, a trap that’s been lost until snagged again this is one of the coolest things I’ve had come up snarled into one of my traps because this is over an area fished mostly by my family so there’s a very good chance this could be my great grandfather and even great great grandfathers! Enjoy, thanks for watching! #maine #lobster #fishing #na...

Preserving Maine Lobster Fishing for the next generation
😮 Holy! Those things are absolutely JAGGED! For anyone that doesn’t know, most people are catching a small fraction of those lobsters in the winter. This fella is onto em!
Those 5 footers? For anyone that doesn’t know, i guarantee you’ll be sleeping good after stacking and sending 400 of those things over the rail in a day. Personally I’d just send the first trap or two over the rail and let the rest fire out the stern. Especially in weather I think it’s a toss up whether it’s gonna make a difference keeping em outta the prop wash. That’s fishing though. You could have the two biggest high liners in the state doing things completely opposite of each other
This video is more unique...sounds less like your copying off Jacob's videos
Sounds word for word what Jacob says....granted info is the same but still the jargon is verbatim the same as a few of Jacob's videos with hundred thousand views
Wow that’s really cool! What traps do you use?
Tell me you’re done with the sh*t, without telling me 😂😂
Bros copying jacob so hard lol
Why no snack?

Lawbstasss
No snack?
YOU DIDNT GIVE HER A FISH
Cement losses half of its weight soon as it hits the water
We had same problem wieghted how you got them they would rattle on bottom and flip over added 2 steal weights to the front helped alot
I see your traps are too light that's why the prop wash gets them steal on the Becket side will help bro ! Add 8 or 12 pounds to them like magic
Why don't you just let them go off the stern ?
A few different reasons, without a stern extension we have a hard time getting them past the prop wash without flipping over so we’ve found rail setting them we can get them to fish better and secondly we used to have a rubber floor in the boat when it was built but it wasn’t done properly and eventually came up so we went a different direction with flooring and now there’s a half inch lip on the stern that runners catch on and flip them over if we stern set them
Ok sweet I'm from a different area we set them all off the stern but we got anchors
Wow! Thanks for showing us!
Thanks for watching!
This guy does a poor job of removing the barnacles he acts like he doesn't have the time nor does he care
send them with a snack
Awesomeness!
Jacob knowles watch his videos kid and he will show you how to lean up the barnacles 😂
Really you can think of anything original. What a hack
Thats an interesting way to pronounce halibut
wow you must make a ton with them that you throw back why don't more people waste their time throwing them back oh yeah its BS man if i worked on there and you stopped to do this, I would quit this is just dumb
Treat everyone with respect 🙏
Cool.
So satisfying 🦞
😇🙏🙏😎👍
Watch out for the barnacles. Just watched a video of a guy who cut himself on one. Took major surgery multiple surgeries to shed his hand of them. They grew to encompass his tendons. Human blood believe it or not is similar to the ocean.
You are becoming the Dr pimple popper of lobsters Barnacle bob
Congrats on 1.7 million subs! Awesome channel 👍
Oh my word, have you driven a boat before??? Go up to em and hand em the crates 🙄
That's rough work, feeling queasy just looking at it
Thanks for making this! Well done! 🙏🙏
Sorry to give ya crap but you look straight from New Jersey!
How do you get it back in the water
Wowza
Was that the EMITT! Lol
Do storms do that or what causes them to entangle like that?
Give snack
