Ok From what I understood, Geto was traumatized by Riko's death. Gojo may have not been as affected because he wasn't there. Riko was legit killed right in from of Geto and he couldn't even kill her murderer. To make matters even worse, he witnessed non-sorcerors celebrating her death; applauding for her dead lifeless body. Gojo becoming the strongest and Shoko becoming an invaluable doctor meant that Geto was now by himself on all his missions, meaning he's alone most of the time. Leaving someone who's depressed and has PTSD alone is usually a terrible idea. Yuki is somewhat to blame only because she gave Geto his mission in life but I think Geto was going down this path eventually. I think Gojo had a huge part of the blame because he never noticed that Geto was struggling even though that's his best friend.

He mostly just sold megumi for the money but also in the manga when he died it explained that he sort of wanted the best for Megumi but i guess didn’t want to be a dad so he told the Zen’in clan that rejected him for having no cursed energy that if he killed teen gojo megumi would be head of clan. Of course when toji gets finished by gojo this can’t happen so he thought the next best thing would be for him to get stronger in Jujutsu High.

Pretty sure the reason Geto couldnt absorb Tojis curse was because Geto wasnt aware Toji has the Inversed spear of Heaven and hitting him with the weapon neutralizes his absorbing technique (Also i think him caring abt his son at the end was just cause he saw his life flash before his eyes and he had regrets) This episode was def one of my favorites im glad to see the upload, are you going to be posting tmrw aswell?

Shoko: the character almost no one ever recognizes/remembers except that she resembles Nobara. 😂😂😂 Geto's deal with survival of the weakest is a big part of his evolution. Gojo called him "principled" in the movie, in retrospect implying that his core hasn't changed in the years between high school and the movie. Geto protects the weak.

Geto’s whole thing of wanting the weakest to survive was so Humans don’t get scared of dying to curses in turn making more curses, later on he changes his mind you’ll see why lol

“Gojo can just sense everybody?” It’s only explained in author notes: he has the Six Eyes (not blue eyes, haha j/k), which is ambiguously classified whether it’s an physical attribute or technique (however definitely inherited), but implied that it has abnormally powerful curse energy perception.

As a side note, about Yuta and Gojo's ancestry. Their ancestor Michizane was a real person in Japan. He is so famous to the Japanese that his face is in textbooks and on old bills. To many people, the story of Yuta's and Gojo's ancestors' strength may seem abrupt and contrived, but it is actually a very compelling story for the Japanese. Michizane is now worshipped as a god, but before he became a god, he was a very powerful curse. Just like Sukuna. So the strength of Yuta and Gojo is very compelling. Also, the Gojo clan is real, and in fact, they are descended from Michizane. So when some history buffs hear the rare surname “Gojo” and the key word “curse” in Japan, they assume from the start that it is probably related to the Michizane family. I think it was an effective foreshadowing, mixing historical fact and fiction well. We won't know the details of Yuta's abilities until later, but for now, I think it's good to know that he's a very strong guy. Yuta is also the other main character, as he was the main character in the author's first JJK manga. I'm sure you'll enjoy season 2 even more.
