Supposedly taken from The Last Unicorn 1989 VHS, but J2 Communications printed it instead.

I remember seeing this on the VHS of "The Land Of Faraway" (or Mio in the Land of Faraway / Mio min Mio, 1987).

Somehow ended up with the master tapes that this company used for their "Best of Saturday Night Live" VHS releases. Someday when I figure out how to connect the deck to my computer, I'll try to provide a master quality capture of this logo.

I liked the movie enough. It was fine, the villain was properly villainous, and the hero was a good guy. I think the worst part of this movie is that you can hardly understand what the musicians are singing.

0:16- Seems like a dad movie. 0:21- Whoa, forget quiet time! Did that duck just shoot that kid?! 0:33- For instance, I wasn't expecting Glenn Close to be dubbed by Andie MacDowell. What a twist.

I think I finally found it. As a child, I used to constantly hum this melody that I believe is this one. I loved the sound of the opening theme and is probably why still to this day I like dark ominous synths. Man, that was a nice lil visceral nostalgic moment, lol.

Was this included on any DVDs? The MMPR Shout Factory set uses an updated logo and the German DVDs use the International variant of this logo.

When I was little, I don’t know why, but I used to be afraid of the Hi-Tops Video logo. Now, I’m not scared of it anymore. I grew up on the Baby Songs videos and this logo was at the beginning. I have no idea if it was the music or the animation, but it used to scare me for whatever reason, and now I’m very happy to say that I have overcome my fear of the Hi-Tops Video logo
