Is there really such a thing as nonsense in linguistics besides gibberish? Well, those with a Romance language as their mother tongue think that those of us with English as a mother tongue are silly when we ask “How old are you?” Those other people would say, “What do you mean? I’m a person, not an amount of time!” However, those of us with English as a mother tongue find a question such as “How many years do you have?” vague at the beginning of a conversation because to us, that could mean years of anything (such as residence or experience with employment and therefore not just age)!

It's refreshing to watch this. She is very smart, and the way she interacts is also nice to watch (I guess because she has teaching experience, so she makes a great listener).
