Sometimes a simple rig is the most effective. I'm still using the Boss chorus I bought over three decades ago and the Marshall JCM 800 and PRS nail the classic rock sound.

"Manuela Boy" is a traditional Hawaiian slack key song. I first learned the song in 1995 when I was taking a guitar class at Kapiolani Community College on Oahu. I remember going to the north shore and playing this and other slack key songs while glancing at the palm trees and ocean. Recently a student wanted to learn to play slack key, so I dug out this song.
