Snake Plants Leaf Cutting In Water | Stylish Ways to Decorate With Snake Plants

Snake plant (Sansevieria) propagation through leaf cuttings is indeed one of the simplest methods.
1. Choose a mature, healthy snake plant leaf.
2. Use clean, sharp scissors or a knife to cut a leaf from the mother plant.
3. Water Propagation
Fill a jar or vase with a few inches of water.
Insert the callused end of the leaf into the water, ensuring that the cut end is submerged.
Place the container in a bright area with indirect sunlight.
Change the water every week to keep it fresh and oxygenated.
In a few weeks to a couple of months, you’ll notice roots forming at the base of the leaf.
4. Transplanting
Once the roots are well-developed (at least a few inches long), carefully transfer the rooted leaf
into a pot filled with well-draining potting mix.
Water lightly and allow the new plant to establish itself.
