@ellenhuu Oh! I've always found it odd when I see western-christian customs in a Chinese or Japanese wedding. I think China being not a religious country is one of the reasons for this as people over there can adopt to foreign customs easily (one that is the most influential)

@@hrithikd1310 I think nowadays China is strongly influenced by Western culture, especially through movies and media. Many young couples want to have these modern elements on their special day. It has nothing to do with religion, as you mentioned-China is not a religious country but is more about culturally open and following fashion trends. also, western-style weddings are shorter and easier to plan, as traditional Chinese weddings can be quite complex. I think that's why couples tend to have modern weddings with elements of chinese traditions instead of traditional chinese weddings
