Blastbeats are one of those "easy to learn, hard to master" drum beats. This practise routine will strengthen your wrists, speed up your blastbeats and make you move more freely on the drum set. Watch and try it yourself! Man that was exactly what i was looking for! Thank you so much for this video, mate.
Glad you like it!
Thank you,very well done!👍👍
Thx glad you like it!
Make sure to steady your breaths too. Holding your breath or breathing irregularly will wear you out faster. Nice video 👍
This is for french grip. Unless you play french grip having to swap from french to matched grip is pointless. Do you have a tutorial on how to do it with matched grip aka American style?
Did you try to do it? You don’t have to stick to one grip. If you will get efficient with the exercises Ive mentioned, you can just switch between grip types. Also, it will strengthen your fingers, you will be faster with any grip.
Thank, really helpful 👍🔥👍
Thank you for zooming in on your hand while demonstrating the technique. I’ve found myself pausing and zooming in on other videos to see how they’re holding the stick + the movement of it. Your video is the best one I’ve seen on this so far. Subscribing right now
Thank you! In some time Ill make some more content. What would you like to see?
@@blasfemus1663 I’ve been working your exercises since seeing the video. The only thing I’m trying to get down is the double stroke roll. I’m practicing the push/pull technique but I see other people getting good double strokes and not using that technique. I’d like to see how you go about doing that
I don't know if you'll reply to this or not but when I try this grip the stick starts rolling slowly..is it normal?
Sorry I didnt answer a month ago. Yeah, that is normal, you have to just repeat the exercises. With experience your sticks will move less and less. Also your fingers are different than mine, try to look for the best stick position with them.
awesome video! i've just started learning this technique and i can finally understand the movement, even tough my left hand sucks. How long would you recommend to practice this a day to get some results?
Thanks! Try doing the 1 finger exercise - 1 minute for a finger. Then do this 1-10-1 bars exercise. It should take you around 15 minutes. 4-5 times a week should be enough. Have a good practise!
Killer lesson. Been practicing these for years and they have really helped me so much more than just improving the technique itself. Thanks so much for this
Hey, have you been practising it lately?
@@blasfemus1663 yes sir, still rocking these exercises almost everyday! And still watching this lesson once in a while when not on the kit too 😁
That's a very good, no bullshit video. I wish native English speakers could do as well.👍
Thanks! How is your training?
@@blasfemus1663 Well, sketchy at best.
My wife absolutely loved the fact I watched this video. Ty
Bro its so hard to do with left😢 i can go to 280 comfortably and 290-300 for short periods of time with my right hand but my left hand cant to anything. Been trying grip strengtheners too to make my finger muscles stronger but i dont think im improving pls help
Hey! The only exercises I can think of are in the video. Do not try to fast, let the rebound do the work. You can also try playing in tripletes, gives your hand a different feeling. A good starting point for me is 180bpm (played in 8th notes) or 120bpm (8th notes tripletes).
@@blasfemus1663 Hi bro, just wanted to say your tutorial helped alot and I can now play 290 bpm with my left hand!
Great man, keep it up!
@@blasfemus1663 gotta say thanks to you again man i don't use solely finger technique that often but these exercises really help improve my push pull technique. Greatest lesson ever
Glad to hear that, did you manage to break some bpm records? Haha
You spelled blasphemous wrong.
It's his channel's name he can spell any word however the fuck he wants 😂
That answered my problem. Thank you.
Does it still do the work? Do you stull use the technique ?
@@blasfemus1663 To be honest, no. I can't do it in real time while playing. I guess I do sometimes something similar but not as clean as you demonstrate. Thank you.
Super ta vidéo mec, merci
Nice work!
awesome video !
❤❤❤
My right hand sucks.
Did you manage to get your hand doin better?
Nice
That’s really helpful 🙏
I love how relaxed and unstrained you are playing yet the drum parts are brutal!
Great video, very well explained.
Ленин нихуа се на барабанах)
This is pure gold)) Thanks for sharing!
I take it this takes a few months to master...after 4 weeks im struggling..slowly improving
Patience is your friend when learning, bro!
Hey! How is your practise going?
@blasfemus1663 I wish I could say great my friend but my time has been consumed with work and caring for my 92 year old dad...I will come back to it
Some seriously impressive drumming! Very enjoyable to watch! Please keep these videos coming!
Damn, excellent drumming! Very tight with the bass and the guitar! Outstanding work!
Another excellent video! You are very good at explaining these routines, thank you very much!
Thank you very much!
Excellent exercises, thank you very much!
Helpful
I. like your demonstration however I don't use this French Grip. Can you demonstrate using the American Grip or German Grip using fingers only???
Im gonna tell you, I use something around american grip, but for faster parts of rolls or blastbeats i use the technique from the video. Did you manage to use it in your playing?
break ur right hand and be forced to learn with left xD
It may have to come to that for me 🥲
5 minutes, straight to the point without unnecessary bullshit, like
Just curious what size sticks you use?
Cant remember the exact model of those. For training hands I use quite thick ones - Civ Firth Rock maple american custom SDI GENERAL. For playing on a drumset I use what ever stick I have, 5A size preferably.
This is so helpful!! Very good exercise to use one finger at a time. Thanks
Nice to hear that!
This is a good lesson
Good shit man love the content! \m/
Thank you for the good exercise ideas 👍
No problem, train well :)
It's frustrating... I feel like my fingers aren't strong enough.
This exercise with one finger at a time will get your fingers stronger.
Nice man! Was struggling with position and wrist movement....angle....made me visualize myself in a better way so now on the right path! thx!
Great, good luck in training!
Feels like I will never get this....my left hand feels like its not even my hand 😂
Dont worry and do this „one finger at a time” exercise everytime you have sticks in your hands. You will get it eventualy. The worst scenerio - in few weeks :)
@@blasfemus1663 thanks buddy
This video is so gooooooood
Uauuu,the best video,thanks.
Great exercises. Thanks for sharing
Thx! Good luck with training :)
This the awesome! Billy finger technique technique! Gladstone used confuntion with the Freestroke, Moeller Shmoeller-technique and the rich Buddy push pull-pull-pull techniques it’s...Moeller 💚👀🐎👥👜🚷🕦🕦🕦🕦🎾🎾🥏⚽
Super Sir first lesson batao
Thx :)
Excellent video, it helped me a lot. But a question, how long did you practice this technique until you reached perfection?
Haha, I havent reached it yet! It took me about a month of doing those exercises at my practise sessions to being able to freely use it in my playing.
@@blasfemus1663Are my fingers supposed to be sore after the finished session? I worry that I’m not doing it right because mine aren’t really sore.
This is so helpful, great video dude
Great thanks!
Ok starts with index finger then goes to middle and fourth…..Well shown, to the point, it is fingers not wrist up and down….Thank you for video!
Yeah, when you will get it, it will become almost efortless :)
