Are all of the documents submitted: Fingerprints, Completion of the Prelicensing, any supplemental documents if you said yes to any of the background questions, and passing the licensing exam. It should say if anything is deficient. It looks like the last update was the week of August 31, 2023. I imagine they must busy right now. I hope this helps. I would follow up with licensing.

Great question! There is an online calculator and you can use blank paper. Ask the proctor for use of scratch paper and they will give you instructions.

There should be an option for same as mailing address or something like that.

And my next question is, is there a particular company you recommend for completing my hours? I’ve used upward bound training in the past, and a friend of mine used psi. Just wondering if there is one you recommend. I always seem to do better if I actually have a hard copy so that I can highlight rather than just note taking. Second question... if you are asking about prelicensing, then enroll in our blended learning program that includes the 52 hours CA Online Prelicensing AND study hall with exam prep. If you're from another state, let me know the state and I can advise on which provider to complete the prelicensing. I hope this answers your questions.

Life exam license allows for the transaction of life insurance and fixed annuity products. Life accident & health includes health insurance and life insurance products.

Let me attempt to answer your question... If you are in a state other than the state you want to transact in (sell/offer/solicit insurance), then you get a license in your resident state and apply for a nonresident license in the other states you want to transact insurance. I hope this answers your question.

Veronica to answer your question I need more specifics. Started under a company/business?? Your license is your license. Are you referring to Property & Casualty or Life, Accident & Health? Key concepts on most accident & health exam … adult dental not included in health plan, pediatric dental is required because of PPACA. Know the PPACA. Policy provisions, the difference between PPO and HMO. Just to name a few. Remember to breathe. The more you review the more retain.

@@IrmaRomero I’m taking the California exam. I’ve been really nervous and still freaking out about it, haven’t been able to sleep well or anything. Have you done the xcel stuff? Is it easier or harder? I remember you mentioning the psi but I don’t remember xcel. I am also worried because sometimes I really need to look up the answers but other times don’t and I think I’ve done more looking up than knowing but I don’t know if that’s paranoia or not.

I’m taking the exam and failed the last exam simulation because it wants to get 85%. Is that exam harder than the actual??
