This is much better advice than "be technical" or "don't use strength".
At 0:54, the purple belt arriving late to training is just pure stereotype.
Who is she ?
Why are these cats on their phones?
They're taking notes.

great seminar, her communication skills and break downs are very solid. A great concise guard passing system.
Nice!!!

Nice killer detail
Just clicked that its to do with the hip extension onto the arm into the neck
Muito bom
Can you have an angle for your scoop hand underneath? Like where do you place it
Under the thigh
Perfect explanation! Could you maybe show it from a different angle?
💯
Holy cow I love the simplicity
Super good advice
Super good video
A great series of videos, thanks very much.
If we're both guard pullers then we just gonna be leg locking?
🔥🔥🔥
Sick content
So today I rolled with a girl for the first time who was much smaller than me. I really tried my best to work technique and not just over power or weight. But I one point I laid or like rolled over her leg wrong and almost hurt her, I was super apologetic and made sure she was okay but I could tell she was annoyed with me. As a new student I’m just wondering if there is something I might have done wrong or if it was just and unfortunate accident.
I am a smaller girl in my gym, I am a teenager and all the other people my age are dudes and I get hurt all the time! (sometimes bc they arent trying to work technique but most of the time they actually are just trying to work technique and not strength) Accidents happen, and even if they arent accidents, it is just a part of jiujitsu. Imo rolling w stronger and bigger people helps my jiujitsu skill. I dont think you could have done anything differently!
Women fighting men does not make sense. Nobody can really learn something significant from that.
As a new guy you shouldn't worry about it. It's takes a long time until you can roll well with smaller ppl.
@@cbus12ll27The strength differences between men are even bigger than between the average dude and average woman. In bjj everyone trains with everyone and it's the most efficient way of learning grappling.
Great stuff, on it! Im 190 cm with longgg legs, I think if I get to your flexibility ill be much much harder to pass.
I appreciate you taking the time to explain all these concepts in a straightforward manner. This is the berimbolo video that has helped me the most. Thank you very much.
Good, simple, and effective-thank you.
great video fam, straight to the point, no BS and simple explanations
🤙🤙🤙🤜💥🤛
i miss that old building and you guys
Very nice! Keep up the good work 👏👏👏
Good 🔥 warm up as I'm a guard player.. who is she & where is she located +BJJLab? Does she give classes somewhere? Osss
She teaches Yoga at the BJJ Lab :) Here is her website: www.emmasyoga.ch/
Of course at the moment everything is locked down, but she will be back when everything reopens
Great video on mat etiquette! Personally, I have a similar problem. If I may ask, how are you supposed to roll with higher belts? I sometimes feel like I am suppose to just flow, but sometimes it feels like the other person is just bored.
Just try to do your best, not much else you can do :) Try to use as much technique as you can and learn as much as you can (if something doesn't work, try to figure out why). The rest is kinda up to them.
god i love this thank you
I like this simple speaking on BJJ strategy without any flashy editing or graphics you don't need in the video. Very nice and keep dishing out the great advice!
This is awesome, I’m going to try this thank you
Great video, I can tell you guys are well studied and thoughtful in your approach to the sport. Looking forward to more content for sure!
The little details about hip framing and angle to defend the outside passes are awesome. Thank you for sharing.
Nice video. I like the "knee on the mat" concept.
My man Lucas geili Sach! We need more o' this
great video
Great work guys!
Awesome videos, are there more coming in this series?
👏👏👏
mateus best closed guard in the game after roger gracie, and best finisher in the game currently
is the last one a toe hold? So brown belt and up?
Is que no mid browl belt yes
that would be considered straight ankle lock so legal all belts in ibjjf
