Yeah it did, i'm not a huge fan of alcantara generally. I have since moved onto a Fanatec setup and running the McLaren GT3 rim(which is awesome!)and is rubber instead of alcantara which I think is way more comfortable and durable as I don't wear gloves when I race. The view is great out of the window, I have full views of Mt Bogong which is the tallest mountain in Victoria, Australia. :)

@@FreeformRock with Fanatec gear getting cheaper and some great used deals around online I totally recommend moving to Fanatec. The wheels are great. I will end up making some videos about them at some point.

I guess T300

Hey mate. It was a rough day but still fun. We had a better run at Monza and finished 17th in the second split. We were pretty happy with that result. Tips for iracing. Start in the MX-5 and Skip Barber races. They have fixed setups so you don't have to worry about that stuff. Once you move up to a D class license I enjoy the Ferrari 12.0 races. Hit me up when you get into it and i'll add you onto my friends list! :)

Unfortunately not. You can only use the USB connector for PC at this point in time. It only connects straight to a tx or tmx wheelbase for Xbox.

Stijn Blockx I dint think so unfortunately. Pretty sure it only fits the t300, t500 and tx models. Could be wrong, maybe check the website. 😁

@@stijnblockx8648 Same for me here. I have a T150 Pro, but you can't take the wheel off from the T150. So that's not possible. I think the T300 is the cheapest wheel where you can remove the wheel from and use an add on wheel.

you cant use it on 150 but you can if you mod it using the T150 quick release mod. i have a TMX which is the same wheel but for xbox or PC and with the quick release mod which is around 45 dollars. you can put the T300 wheel and open wheeld add on (shown in the video) on the servo base

Hi Marc. I'm running an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor, 16gb of ram, MSI Ge Force RTX 2060 gpu on an ASUS B-450F motherboard. VR is an Oculus Rift S. Can run iRacing on pretty much max settings in VR with a few tweaks here and there for performance. Hope that helps.

@@marcmcfarlane561 Yeah should be fine. I had never built a computer before either. Learned as I went along. You Tube videos and sim racing facebook groups helped a lot. Oculus Rift S is selling for $650aud which surprised me with how cheap a quality headset can be.

Ha Ha! Yeah, I had to move it to a different spot because I ran out of room! Couldn't be happier with it though. iRacing in VR is too much fun. Hope you and the fam are well mate.

BigBruceTheShark yeah. I think Polyphony have a long way to go to become “the real driving simulator”. If they turned damage on full, pulled back on the tyre wear a bit, no ghosting of cars and use drive through penalties, that would be a good start.
