Nice day and a beautiful car. As an instructor, I have to say you should have backed off the Camaro, jumped off, and pitted to get some space to run. I do not know what group this is but it looks like intermediate at best. You should never be happy that you "push a Camaro off track" This was not a race and it's both driver's responsibility to make it so that everyone including slow Camaro's to have a good day! How would you feel if he wreaked his car because you were giving him too much pressure? Sure he shouldn't be driving his mirrors and he should have given you a point by BUT you share some of the issues here.... IMHO

Now imagine doing this in a GT500. It's nuts....lol.

Sounds great too bad you barely got any open track. Traffic looks like I 85...

Nice consistent laps. I think you could carry more speed through the Climbing Esses if you allow the car to track out toward the middle of the track, rather than holding tight to the right, prior to South Bend. There is enough space to work back to the right prior to South Bend. Just my $.02. Boy that GT was a menace. I can't believe he swerved off the track to get out the way of the Miata. They should make people get a license to drive those. Or something.

Yes, I used the Track Key at each event. It's a big difference. It's a whole new car. Very aggressive.

No, it's on the other video. But I was running 2.30 laps on a regular basis.

The cap was a problem, but tighten it down and wash off the brake fuild or it will eat the paint..

That's sweet. My 5.0 got the brembo package I sure it uses the same pad as yours just no duct work yet. Did you catch the leaking brake reservoir cap under high G's? I always have brake clean on hand now for track days

Yeah, both came with the Laguna Seca. Both are installed and working nicely. I"m impressed by the braking. At 140mph the brakes grip.

Did you get the brake-cooling ducts with it or the front-air splitter?

Nope, same brakes. The are wearing fine after a total of 4 days on the track.

No, I was just getting the engine cool. It was running 240, 40 degrees above the norm. I'll probably make it in October. Love the track.

Nice vid! Thanks for posting! My in-car ended up not working so I've been looking for other people's vids where I could see myself. I was the car ahead from about 15:30 - 22:00. We were running about the same lap times but you were killing me on the straights and then I got held up in traffic and you blew past me after Oak Tree. I was topping out about 110. Saw your car parked at the lodge for a while with the hood up. Did you have a mechanical? Hope to see you in October!
