cannot seem to add this in a repeater component for adding records. Is this a limitation?
I honestly have not tried that, I’ll look into it
Yes that is a limitation or "expected behavior" as I got a response from Salesforce support. Can't use that inside a repeater component. Also another drawback I found with this was - you can pass a default record value (specially useful on editing the record screens) - again "expected behavior"! comment from Salesforce support.
you can use this, but when your data will move from one environment to another environment, the Ids will be changed and this flow will fail just like Chatur Rama Lingam's Career.
Hello @whozveer Yeah that is true, you have to update that ID and is there any other solution ?
@@knoxio5744 yes, instead of using the ID, use the . operator to fetch the record type name and this will work every where.
@@knoxio5744 use a "Get Records" element and filter by DeveloperName to get the Record Type. Then you can use the record type Id in the flow, for example when getting or creating records.
@@knoxio5744 get records element for recordtypes with developer name
Hey, there is no "restore" button showing on my mac. What do I do?
The restore option is available as a Preview Feature. You can enable this from Settings -> Workbench: Enable Preview Features. Once enabled, right click on the Databases from the connected Server you can now see the Restore Database(preview) option. I could successfully restore from a backup file.
After giving read permission error not resolved .
You can (and probably should) get the recordtypeid in the flow using a Get element. Get sobjectType = Opportunity / Name = Bank. Then reference the Id field in the returned record.
Thank you I will try that next time
It helped me, Thanks a lot!
Thank you!
is it working for creating new records ?
Yes it works
Bro could you tell me how to set relationships table on a database using Azure studio on macos
Hello! Let me know if this helps - docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vR1tApnONp6EXnz9-PvSXMNzMKKv1EcqbUaK_8R4oKDQPQMsvXJ406sQFeEsKINyCRjrSrTA2bEf8vc/pub
Try to avoid hard-coding in flow
Just an FYI, you can get the record type id simply by clicking on it in setup and pulling it from the url.
Thank you!
Hi, But how to create records with those values since it is not showing while using Create DML operation in flow
Send me an example to my email knoxnethan9500@gmail.com
@@knoxio5744 was there a provided solution for this question
I never received an email, are you encountering this same issue? @@dougcontaoi8164
this clip helped me solve another problem, thanks bro!
Awesome, I'm glad
But mine is an apple chip and it runs on zsh which in turn is throwing an error when copying the files to backup folder. could you please help me know how to fix this issue.
I imported several excel, but today when I login the azure, all excel disappear..why?
I got this; Error: No such container:path: mssql-server-linux:/var
Hi. Much thanks for this. Quick suggestion though if u do not mind. I think would be great if you provide in your description the paths you used here so that one can just copy and paste rather than type it out.
hi Bro, congrats! not sure if this was asked but what was your IT experience before taking the exam? i am scheduled to take the exam in November. i passed the net+ end of 2019 and back at studying the ccna the pass few months. i am in desktop support role and it takes a while for me to learn the concepts and content but little by little its coming together.
How has your journey been?
@@knoxio5744 To be honest...not good. I didnt pass the exam and was getting burn out from studying. I should have rescheduled my exam and taken a break but I wanted to see what the exam was all about. I even took a week long virtual Cisco certified CCNA course with an instructor but that was a waste of money and time....I know the certification value is there but its not worth it to me to pursue this certification right now. Maybe in the future but not any time soon. I was in a place where I "needed" this certification because I thought I was missing out on some opportunities but I am in a good place now. Family is more important than the certifications and some times one needs to experience these failures. I learned a lot about myself while studying for the CCNA. Otherwise thanks for asking and hope all is well with you.
I wanted the video exactly
