You forgive someone if they have directly asked you forgiveness and are truly remorseful. Not the people who have been trying to destroy you, put you to prison and create any sort of problem in your life for the past 5 years. You dont forgive people who have been repeatedly wronging you, spying on you, backbiting and slandering you. They need to be punished. Alos I have noticed how many people are simply seeking to get rid of the punishment and accountability, theyre not really sorry, they just dont want to get rekt as a consequence of their actions.
