Not 100% pure
Yes they are
@@avianempireinc no they're not dont treat us as fools.
Are you a waterfowl biologist? I guessing not. This line is derived from the late Paul Dyes line which included imports from Venezuela, as well as some gifted by Frank Todd.Everyone who knows anything about this line.knows they are in fact pure.
@@avianempireinc jeez christ, yes i am, even hobbyist knows that these aren't pure ones.
If you wanted to suggest that captivity has changed them over the course of the past 40 years, your position would be more credible. The ducklings of these strains are all express a “chocolate” mutation, which, incidentally first arose in 2nd generation birds at Slimbridge in the sixties. When mature, birds are phenotypically the same as adults. To date, however, nobody has demonstrated this mutation does not occur in the wild. As far as the red caruncles, which is what I believe you are basing your false hybridization assumption on, birds such as this male, do in fact occur in the wild. Additionally, sometimes white shows up on heads, etc. This also occurs in the wild and has forever, and this trait is probably related to inbreeding. Native people of South America in used to encourage them to stay near their villages, (as they collected eggs and ate the birds)… which resulted a higher portion of white in the birds- a bi- product of inbred family units. Furthermore, European birds are perhaps less representative of true wild birds than the American line. Although the chicks are “wild” color, the birds are much larger and have no red on their faces- jet black- solely a product of selective breeding. Lastly, while these birds in the video, are not my birds, I do maintain that line. I also have some birds which are direct descendants of some birds that came out of South America. These birds produce wild color chicks, but closely resemble the birds in the video. Direct message me if you have further questions. If you would like to do further research J.C. Phillips, Janet Kear, and Paul Johnsgard have documented the natural history fairly well. I can proved more, very good academic material as well if you wish.
Beautiful cool birsa
Wow what beauties
Do they need any shade
CUUUUUTE!!!!!😊
❤❤
İ love how simple u made it n how effective it is
Wow its a very nice setup am definitely getting some ideas on how to set up an aviary if i ever get one one day
This is the best educational video ive found on venting! thank you! If you could do a video on sexing geese that would be amazing!!
You got the scientific name of the nene completely wrong, its correct scientific name is actually Nesochen sandvicensis.
The Nene (Nesochen sandvicensis) is a goose native to Hawaii, it is the only extant species in the genus Nesochen (Hawaiian Geese) following the extinctions of the Nenenui (Nesochen hylobadistes) and the Giant Hawaii Goose (Nesochen rhuax), its closest living relative is the Swan Goose (Cygnopsis cygnoides (cladistically including the Oriental Goose (Cygnopsis cygnoides domesticus))), the split between the genera Cygnopsis and Nesochen occurred during the Pleistocene from an ancestor in Asia.
Wow they about to hatch 🐣 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Esta muy encabronada.
I hve red
I want to see the comparison of Nene Goose aka Hawaiian Goose and Canadian Goose.
Dinosaur bird
It is for sale
How were you able to breed them
@@jhueromebacani-ml6ck yes we breed them every year. They are in 16x16 feet pen with pond 6x6 they are usually in pen with just one more pair of birds like ruddy ducks. A lot of space for 4 birds with a lot of vegetation. They do use ground box.
Any tips for breeding them in Captivity?
Awwww❤❤ the baby nene looks so cute!
Cool

Price
They don't have a price, you have to find them in the wild or the eggs
who gave that duck a kazoo?
Where's that snakehead fish that eats birds
Oh,looking scared for her eggs,babies...
Approx cost ?
Like watching your videos. I have found that using a half lap joint on my doors on all my pens tends to work the best. After 20+ years they don’t sag or rack even with no bracing.
But is it a goose? And are that the eyes of the bird?
Hey man how do you get these amazing birds
Cutest duck in the world 🩵
Black
At least 12x12 pond with 25x25 aviary with no other birds with them.
Thank you for your help
What kind of swans?
interesting that's how ci-fi Ducks looks like.
How big of a pen should you build to house a breeding pair of swans in?
How many species do you have? You must have more than a thousands of species?
No, only 127
Don't mess with mama duck!🦆
Its people like you that always know the most about animals. I always gravitated to people who have worked with animals for decades. I would think there was some immunity etc with a mother bird as opposed to incubators. Its an insecurity/stress thing, babies need mothers. Its a fact of nature.
Such a gorgeous duck
