    Thanks for the video. So, for those 12 cutting boards, how long did it take to complete all the sanding? (I'm just trying to figure out how slow I am compared to someone else) And when you are wiping off the sawdust after sanding? I often will use mineral spirits on a rag because it works well and then dries quickly and doesn't raise the grain, but wondering if that would be bad for cutting boards due to industrial chemicals in the spirits.

    • @nicoturrubiates20
      @nicoturrubiates20 6 місяців тому

      I would avoid using chemicals that aren’t good safe. Using a damp rag with some water is great as you should be raising the grain anyways when making a cutting board. Pop the grain right before your last sanding grit and then when the customer washing the board for the first time it won’t be nasty :)

    Great boards, I się enjoy how they look. However, the editing and cheese jokes inserted is just ridiculous. Not funny ridiculous - incomprehensible ridiculous. Work on that for the next video and you'll be good.

    there's a ton of well known funiture building techniques to deal with this. Bread board ends for tables, floating frame construction for doors. That's a huge bummer about your beautiful work. You might be able to cut off the frames and reglue them back together
