9:49 The top engine cover was regularly walked on so it was dented down near the muffler guard. We used to walk on it getting into the cargo bed. If you want a rare applique we used a long center green cargo box affixed to that engine cover in the middle with bolts. My unit 2/68 armor and possibly one other in Germany used this box at the top of the engine cover.

Interior was regular CARC green, it was matte finish, was thin from the OSHKOSH factory and wore off the floor boards quite quickly. We brushed CARC green from the can to cover over the bare metal and rust that accumulated over the year. The fire extinguisher next to the driver was never in, the hook loop was usually broken and so the extinguisher was put in the cargo box on the drivers side.

2:00 Never used yellow bumper numbers, they were tan matte with black stencils. Reflective tape was once mandatory but it got blown off at the wash rack quite regularly. These yellow red mudflap plates would flake after awhile.

Nice film, big fan of Bundeswher stuff and interested in Hobbyboss's latest offerings till i saw the asking price, we are all having to tighten are belts of late but i would like to know how any of the manufactures work their prices out? Airfix was a kit everyone could but with their pocket money on a weekends, ok we know they weren't the greatest models around and over the years they have gotten better, but even their kits now are getting way over priced, whether that be a new kit or one that's been rereleased. But back to Hobbyboss, i wanted the Bergpanzer ARV BPz 3 HBB84565 and it retail at a few pence off a hundred pounds and the thing comes with rubber tracks the same with the Leopard 2 bridgelayer that's over the hundred mark, then we have the LKW trucks £68 to £73, for a truck kit? Just because it comes with some etched fret, So what do other modeler's think are kits getting too expensive or is it me still living in the olden days?
