i ask because i got the same ending, thought I'd closed the time loop but greeted with a "continue timeline?" on my title screen and I'm stumped on why. i have successfully closed the loop before but continued playing for Trophies/Achievements sake and cant remember how i done it before

@@TheUnjust117 I turned on my switch just to answer this... So, yes, it does, but from my research, if I recall, it's because you can technically still do other 'dialogue' choices, many of which don't matter. Even though you saved one timeline, the other timeline still, theoretically, exists to repeat.

Haha. The game is already completed on my side... I honestly don't know... I don't know IF her father actually did something like that or not. Her ability to see the world is so skewed that it's hard to know if she is also just creating scenarios in her head. As someone who knows someone in jail for murdering his parents due to delusions, it's hard for me to say in full. The game leaves a pretty big chunk of info missing on Aoi's end. I'd expect a scar reveal or something, which she doesn't have... I feel like, in all areas of the game where info is missing, it's around Aoi.

@@UndeadEyesGiven how the final act is around 2-3 hours that doesn’t surprise me. I was winding down (getting the feeling the game should be over already) by this act and it did feel rushed. Aoi’s behavior could have definitely had more explanation. She’s interesting despite her missing bits though, maybe it was a choice to leave it up o interpretation? I’m unsure. This story has hit me with more plot twists than any other story I think I’ve seen for better or for worse. At least Tomoe gets a good ending. I’m not sure if Noriko deserved to get off the hook even though the blame can be shared between all the characters to different degrees. While she absolutely had schizophrenia her slate is pretty much wiped clean when she realized her mind was mainly broken by the fear of seeing a rotting body in her wall. It’s an interesting story to discuss. Definitely worth it imo even if it wasn’t perfect.

Honestly? No.... The game is one of those games where it could be REAL good, but...something about it is just...not fun? I may try to play again and see if the glitches will let me through, but I'm not holding my breath either Lol.
