Crossing the Tasman Sea in a wooden motor sailor cray boat
This is the first installment of the journey to deliver the wooden motor sailor "Lady Margaret 1" from Havelock, Marlborough to Nelson, New Zealand and then eventually on to Hobart, Australia.
This part follows Kieren and Darrell through the beautiful Marlborough Sounds and via French Pass to Nelson.
We had to get familiar with the boat and began to ready her for a Trans Tasman marathon that will take approximately 7 days.
we learn how to sail her and figure out those hidden issues before we attempt crossing the Tasman Sea.

catching blue swimmer crabs in West Australia. I headed out with my cousin and his family and a bunch mates and their kids for an evening of scooping for crabs. This was in Mandurah estuary. beautiful warm water and weather which made it really enjoyable.

Three kings deep drop harvest mission on board Pelagic charters boat Te Ariki Nui. 5 days of paradise chasing Hapuku, Bass, Bluenose, kingfish and landing 20 species of fish from Mahi Mahi to Mao Mao and everything in between. biggest bass went 45kg! weather was marginal but the boat is an absolute weapon and eats up the seas making for a special trip which the guests loved.
