My demo of an Excalibur Dark Knight cigar box guitar amp. I recorded all the guitar parts with a Shure SM57 very precisely at the cap edge. Do you get any volume drop untill year reach like 2 or 3 o'clock on yh4 level
There's a little volume drop around there. I was recording through my tube amp which was already really loud so i kept the volume around the middle or 12 o'clock for the demo song. The volume would increase a ton if I went higher than around 2-3 o'clock.
I always enjoyed the bass guitar in Fugazi songs. That and The Smiths. Makes we want to learn/play bass!

No Offense...but that sounds like Crap with kickport..😢
None taken. It's definitely not the sound for some people. The next time I change my kick head, I don't think I'll be installing a kickport.
