WoM is probably one of the first RPG games I have played that's actually good, it isn't a big Roblox game where progression fills the cup or a one where you have to focus too much. It's simply just a game where you can play with Freedom, no forced quests, no forced storyline, no forced builds, everything is just up to you, and even then the game won't just spit things at you because it's an open RPG where YOU have to decide, instead, it builds independence on your character. You start from a newbie who learns more and more, you rank up once, feel good, rank up twice, you start building your character, rank up until Adept, you can choose what You want to do, explore and get stronger how you want since you know how to play

Don't worry. I am done too. The only reason why I played Arcane Odyssey is because of World of Magic. That game is my #1 favourite game on roblox of all time. that game saved my life literally. The soundtracks, the atmosphere, the friends I made, the NPCs, the combat, the lore, the hype, it was beautiful. Thinking about the great times is what keeps me going. I only play AO because my Original files from WoM have been transferred there, that is the entire reason I'm in this community still. Otherwise I wouldn't have cared about AO anymore.

It's a shame, Arcane Odyssey is dying all thanks to the poor decision making around what content ought to be worked on. I really want to love Arcane Odyssey but it's a bummer when the concepts get you more excited than the game. How does one go on an entire rant about how pvpheads are toxic & that they should remove pvp till post launch, then follow up with an update that disproportionately added to the pvp experience? Why were gems the first "major" content update to be focused on when there wasn't enough game to justify the leap in gear progression? Why is it that exploits are almost instantly taken care of, while other game ruining experiences like insanely unbalanced mechanics, ship flinging, and performance issues that have existed since launch remain?

You have the potential to expand to bigger audiences, why make videos on a niche game like Arcane Odyssey?

Arcane Odyssey is a great game, but god damn it is bland when it comes to playing it for an extended period of time. There's essentially nothing to do in the world except sail, fish, basic old "boat on sea" activities. Arcane Odyssey will likely not full release within the next couple of years, not due to the amount of content released, but due to the lack of content and the extended period between each release. I enjoy the game, it's just boring as balls.
